Question about Trident BLADE T64, (32 MB) PCI Graphic Card

1 Answer

Hi, I am currently building my own pc at the moment but need help deciding what processor I need. Ive got a 9500GT super 1Gb, 1024Mb, 128Bit, DDR2, duel link DVI, PCI express graphics card. I want a processor that is at least 3.0ghz and a motherboard to hold it. I need this to run a game called left for dead. Im wondering if i bought a AMD processor, would it conflict with the graphics card at all? also if you could find me a motherboard to make sure the AMD processor works fine aswell as the graphics card that would be great. Price range £75-£150 or cheaper!

Can the LG Xnote RD405 laptop intially with 1gb RAM be upgraded to 4 gb using two 2gb RAM's ? Please help me by providing an answer clearly, Thanks in Advance.

Here is the memory specifications from LG.

Maximum Size: Each slot is 1024MB and can be expanded to 2048MB.
SO DIMM Type for Memory Expansion: DDR2 SDRAM SO-DIMM (256MB, 512MB, 1024MB)

It can take a maximum of 2 gigabytes of ram. It will take two 1 gb sticks. It uses DDR2 laptop ram. You need to check to see if you have one stick that has 1 gb or 2 sticks that have 512 mb each. That will tell you if you need to buy one or two sticks of ram at 1 gb each. You will be able to tell a difference going from one gb to two gb of ram. I think it would be worth the investment if you plan on using the computer for another year or more.

Hello here is the homepage:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Desktop+Boards&ProductLine=Third-Party+Chipset+Boards&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Desktop+Board+D102GGC2

You can only add 1gb per slot Because the mb does not supports a bigger module.
This ram type does come as 1 gb module.
The 667 mhz and 800 mhz is the Mhz speed for the ram module.
Your mainboard supports this but it will only run the current front side bus speed as the mainboard supports.
This means that the new ram will only run 533/400 mhz as the mb supports.

Hope this was helpfull

Hi guys, im using a intel dq35mp motherboard with a q6600 2.4ghz core 2 quad processor , with 8gb ddr2 ram (4x 2gb) and 4x 500gb hdd + 1x 1Tb hdd. im using a 5050watts power supply. i want to overcloc

if you're not sure if a module is right for your system, use the Crucial Memory Advisor tool for a list of guaranteed compatible modules. first you will need to select the manufacturer from a drop down list then select your product line from a drop down list then select the model then click find it will take you directly to compatible ram also you will have an option to scan your system

hope it helps

Nvidia 9500GT driver stopped responding?

If 40C is your system temp at idle you may want to add an intake or exhaust fan on your case. You want to have the same amount of exhaust flow as intake especially if you are adding a graphics card. I also find it odd that you vid card did not come with a fan. 74C still should not be high enough to cut your card off either. It sounds like you have a defective unit.

Hmmm, something does not appear correct. The Crucial memory selector indicates that the Versa Premium will hold 2 256 MB DIMM for a total of 512 MB.

Hi edmondlukwag
I think we are talking about two different memory models here : the physical memory is 512 MB while the virtual one is 1024 MB , that's probably why your games remain playing smoothly .

I have motherboard i845G with intel chipset i845GL , processor is Intel celeron@1800 MHZ. Ram is DDR SD256 MB Ram. Can I upgrade my RAM to DDR 2 1GB RAM.

No each type of ram is different, it wouldn't even fit in the slots, nevermind use it. To upgrade to a different type of ram you'll need to get a new motherboard. Unfortunately there aren't many motherboards that'll take your processor any more, unless maybe if you try to get a second hand one.

Here's a link to one, there may be a few more available elsewhere though

If I were you I'd think about building/buying one with a newer processor. If you decided to build one yourself, then you could get a new motherboard, ddr2 ram and a new cpu for about £150 and use the other components from your present system ie. case, dvd drives, hard drives, although you may have to get a new power supply if your current one can't supply enough power, that would add another £50 for a decent reliable one, go for a decent make like antec or ocz

Obviously I'm in England so it may be cheaper or more expensive depending on where you live. The links below are for an example of what you could get if you decided to build a new one.

Graphics card compatibility with mother board

All PCI-E Graphic card can be used on your motherboard. I suggest nvidia 9500gt 1GB DDR2 128bit because of your power supply. nvidia 9600 & higher models has min. requirement of 400W. if you need higher graphic card model, you need to upgrade your power supply.
