Question about Seagate FreeAgent Pro Desktop - 320GB - 7200rpm - 480Mbps USB 2.0, 300Mbps External SATA ... Hard Drive
I have a seagate free agent external USB drive which i've been using to store music files etc. - i've been using it on a pc, now want to connect it to a mac and it won't let me write to it. how can i remove the write protect functionality?
The problem is because Mac cannot write to NTFS formatted drives. You will have to reformat the drive in Mac. You will loose all the data :( Here is a link for the how to:
