Your music folder should be under your user folder. If you have music on your SD card, plug it into the computer and open "Computer". The laptop should detect the card and give it a drive letter. Open it and play the music directly from the card or copy it to your "My Music" folder and play from any media program. If this doesn't answer your question please elaborate on the issue.
plug it into your pc/laptop via sd card slot (adapter needed if its a micro sd) or through a usb memory card reader. open folder to view files, then copy and paste/drag and drop the files you want into a folder on your desktop.
Most likely, that SD card of yours has been infected with some kind of a computer virus. Best recommendation is to format it. If there are files in it, copy just the images, docs, and spreadsheets. Do not copy all .exe, .com, .bat, .dll or any programs if there's any. Then, format it.
The original R4 card only works with Micro-SD cards up to 2GB in size. To use Micro-SD cards up to 32GB, you need to buy the newer R4 SDHC card or a Nintendo DSi comaptible card. Check out R4 Cards / R4 DS Cards from DSCardWorld.com or NDS-Gear.com (NDS-Gear is probably better if you live in Europe or Canada as their shipping's slightly better internationally).
