I have a kenmore 70 series heavy duty 110 96573230. It doesn't heat up. Can't find where the thermal fuse. Where is it located? Do I need to unscrew the back?

Yes, you need to take it all apart. ( Including the back.)
All of the things that can cause your problem are in the back and the bottom of your machine.
There are actually about 3 to 7 things that can cause "no heat".
Not only the "thermal fuse", but also the heating element, and any of the "overheat thermostat switches" can have failed, beside the possibility there is a wire has burned in two.
You will need a testing instrument like a multi-meter or a volt-ohm meter to check all these out.
Be blessed.

your voltage is not right as it should be 220 volts, check the outlet to see if you have 220 if you do then its the cord, if not then it is either the outlet or the breaker-panel, to check panel remove panel and test both legs of the breaker you should have 220 if not then replace the 30 amp breaker. I have a kenmore 70 series gas dryer. It won't

Check the thermal fuse and thermostats first, then the ignitor and the valve coils are the next possibilities.
