This is a fish finder, not a GPS device? If so, please repost your question in a more appropriate area of FixYa so that the proper experts could see it.

Can you be sure of the make and model of the unit? If so, would you mind telling us?

HELP???

What was the voltage that you measured? Are the units 220 volt or 120 volt. Units that size are usually fed by 220 volts. What is the current rateing of the circuit breakers? Are they a double breaker with a handeling capacity of 20 amps or are they 15 amps.

You didn't mention if they ever worked? Are you feeding 120 volts or 220 volts to the two units?

Good luck,

Marty

I have a old tow motor w/ a wisconsin air cooled engine . I'm looking to change the 6 volt system to 12 volt system. looking for a basic 12 volt wiring diagram for GM alt. and wisconsin parts?

to change the points to electronic you will need to get the manufacturer of the distributor and contact them for a compatible electronic kit to replace the points or replacement distributor
to fit an alternator , get one with an internal voltage regulator ( talk with an auto electrician for the best unit --it is not necessary to go big amperage units so one about 35-60 amps will suffice and cheaper as well)
wiring will be the same as will fuses (neither volt sensitive)
gauges will have to be changed to 12 volt units
bulbs changed from 6 volt to 12 bulbs and switches will be the same as they are no volt sensitive
basically the same circuit can be used and the only place to be careful is the alternator wire to the battery and the charge light or volt gauge ( auto electrician can advise here )
starter motor will have to be changed to 12 volts and you will again have to get the replacement unit from an auto electrician as the bendix pitch , movement and mounting neck will be critical
wisconsin did not make electrical components but used off the shelf companies such as delco remy, lucas , bosch, ac etc for the accessories to the engine
it is an interesting project so collect as much information from auto electricians and web sites to help you

My air conditioner will not run, the fan will not run in auto or in run mode, the compressor will not start. The thermostat clicks on but the air unit does not. this is a Goodman cplj18-1b unit.

Hello, if the outside unit is not running check tje power supply to make sure you are getting 240 volts, also make sure the contactor coil is receiving 24 volts, if you are not getting 24 volts at the contactor then it may be a bad thermostat, control board or the thermostat wiring is loose or perhaps cut somwhere. If you have 24 volts at the contactor and does not energize than replace the contactor coil.

Have Whirlpool model RPD306PDB15. Internal light works, but no illumination on touch pad. Is pad bad and in need of replacement?

FIRST THING IS CHECK YOUR BREAKER TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE GETTING A FULL 220 VOLTS,,,, THEN TAKE THE UNIT OUT OF THE WALL AND CHECK THE VOLTS WHERE THE WIRES HOOK ON THE TERMINAL BLOCK,,( MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF WHILE YOU TAKE THE UNIT OUT, THEN WHEN IT IS OUT AND YOU MAKE SURE THE WIRES ARE NOT PULLED REAL TIGHT, THEN TAKE THE PANEL OFF TO GET TO THE TERMINAL BLOCK, THEN TURN THE POWER BACK ON TO CHECK THE VOLTS),, IF YOU ARE GETTING THE FULL 220 VOLTS THEN IT IS LIKLEY THE TOUCH PAD HAS WENT OUT,, I HAVE SEEN ALOT OF THESE BUT MOST WERE JUST NOT GEETING ENOUGHT POWER,, IT RUNS ON 220 VOLTS 110 TO POWER THE ELEMNTS AND LIGHT AND 110 TO POWER THE ELECTRONICS

No power going to my heating/cooling unit. Tried to replace the t-stat and it is not getting any power. Checked the breaker and wiring at unit and t-stat to make sure they are wired correctly. Any help?

Sounds like a low voltage transformer is bad.

Possible bad relay.

One side of the low volt trans will have 115 volts. The other side should have 24 volts.Going to the heater. The t stat completes this circut when calling for heat.

Some units have a reset on them or a small control fuse.Near the low volt trans.

Just put in a new ac unit and replaced a old one. old unit was 18000 btu and the new one is on 12,000 btu I used the same power outlet but the new ac unit starts up but then shuts down and seems like it is...

The 18,000 btu A/C is 230 volts, are you sure the 12,000 btu unit is 230 volts most are 120 volts.
Usually 12,000 btu is the biggest 120 volt A/C you can buy.

I cant get my air conditioner to go on.

Yes.. first check circuit breakers on the outside unit. then.. make sure the power disconnect beside the outside unit is put in correctly. Sometimes a technition will replace them upside down. if you have power to the unit and it still has not came on.. make sure the unit is getting a "Call signal" from the thermostat. if there is a call signal from the thermostate reaching the outside unit, then listen for a "CLICK" when the thermostat is turned up and down. The click is the sound of the "COntactor" making contact when the unit recieves the "CALL Signal" This means the UNIT is most likely getting 220 volts, Check the voltage input to be sure with a Volt meter. IF you are still getting power and the unit is not running.. the run capacitor is most likely bad.
