Question about HP Compaq Evo W6000 PC Desktop
I have a Compaq EVO W6000 that will not power up. The power button flashes red and the ethernet port shows activity.
The W6000 have a very sensitive RAM layout make sure they are installed securely with one of the following layouts.
Ram, blanking plate, blanking plate, blanking plate.
Ram, blanking plate, Ram ,blanking plate.
as the machine uses RD-RAM there can be no gaps in the memory circuite and can cause it to power up then down.
I know this is slightly off topic but as you also ave a compaq evo w6000 do you have the windows xp recovery disc that came with it as i can not locate mine i am willing to pay via palpal to any one who can send me an ISO image of the recovery disk. My skype account name is CKDS-Broadband if anyone can help me find this disk please add me and i will discuss it over skype messenger with you.
