HELP???

What was the voltage that you measured? Are the units 220 volt or 120 volt. Units that size are usually fed by 220 volts. What is the current rateing of the circuit breakers? Are they a double breaker with a handeling capacity of 20 amps or are they 15 amps.

You didn't mention if they ever worked? Are you feeding 120 volts or 220 volts to the two units?

Good luck,

Marty

I bought my kitchen aid at the US it's 110v. I plugged it at 220v. Now it still works but not on bread mix

A device which is designed for 110 volts MUST NEVER be used into a 220 volt outlet. This can damage the unit and make the motor winding burnt.
You need to buy a STEP DOWN TRANSFORMER with a good rating (220volt to 110 volt) so that the unit works perfectly without damaging the motor.

What do i need to stop my vehicles power source overpowering my head unit

Your vehicle's power source, (battery/Alternator), cannot "overpower" your head unit. A car's internal electrical system runs at 12 volts. Period. Your head unit requires 12 volts to operate.

The head unit will still work at 13-14 volts. If your cars electrical system was supplying more than 14 volts all your internal electrical devices would begin to fail.

You have some other problem.

Installed LG split system. The unit does not

Any chance that you've got L1 and L2 hooked up to the same leg of the main? That would still give you 120 on each but not 240 from L1 to L2 like it should be. I'm not familiar with the LG system, but I would think that a comm line would have two wires.

Wiring a sanyo air conditioner in home. when

Follow the manufactures recommendations and ignore the people who sold you the unit. You do not say if it is a 240 Volt unit or 120 Volt. If it is 240 Volts then no way will a 12/2 wire work. What is the model of the unit?

Does a gemtech 40 + 5 mfd work with a comfortair

Hi, as long as the 40uf x 440 volts and 5uf x 440 volt capacitor are the same is what you are replacing, yes it will work. Don't replace this 40 uf x 440 volt with a 40 uf x 370 volt cap. Voltage and microfarads must be the same, brand name makes no difference or these numbers, only the uf and voltage. Must be a 40 uf x5 uf, 440 volt dual run cap. It will work if the unit you want to put it on calls for that cap. The comfortair is a 3 ton unit, just be sure it takes a 40x5x440 volt and it will be fine.

I bought two Victor 750 watt inverters ,and was led too belive i could stack them and get 230 volts. This did not work ! why.

In order to get 230 volts out of any 115 volt inverters you would need to be able to hook the outputs up in series with each other. If your inverters have outlets there is no way to do this other than completely dismantling both units and then I wouldn't advise it. As a licensed electrcian and electronics tech I've sometime done things like that but only as experiments or in emergencies.
If your units came with a power(+) and ground(-) you could then hook them up in series by fastening the (+) from one unit to the (-) of the other, then tape them to insulate them. You should then show 230 volts from the two leads still available. On the battery side you will still hook both postives(+) to the positive(+) and both ground(-) to the negative(-).
Notes:
* Depending on the internal wiring of your units the above description may not work and could damage or even ruin your inverters.
* Although you may get 230 volts this way you will not have more power(watts,Amps) than listed for one unit and you may even have less.
* You need to also beware this could VOID any warantees and shorten the life of these units.

Maytag model MDE7057AYW 5600 Watts dryer runs ,but

5600 watts will not operate off 120 volts.
This is a 220/240 volt hookup.
There are 2 legs of 120 volts each that operate the dryer.
The only part requiring 220v is the heater.
Otherwise 120v routes through the various controls and relays.

I got an indoor unit working on fan mode only...the compressor on the outdoor unit is not kicking in...even though there is power to it..iv checked the fuses on the pc board outdoors...any suggestions...

There are two different power voltages to these outdoor units. 24 volts in the control circuit and 230-240 volts for the compressor to operate. Checking the fuses as good does not insure that power is to the unit. You need to check the power with a volt meter.
