FIrst, go to the Hunter website and see if they make one. If they do, then go to their "Where to Buy" link, and see who sells Hunter products, and call them to see if in stock.

If worse comes to worse, got to a hardware store and buy a piece of black iron gas pipe the correct length with threads on each end. You will probably have to get cross holes drilled through the threads to match the short stub pipe that comes with the fan.
Buy some spray paint while there that matches the color you want.
Buy some stranded wire, enough to run the length of the pipe, plus the length of the fan, plus excess to extend beyond the end of the pipe and out the junction box of the fan. It would be best to buy a length of the following colors to match what is already in the fan, and that should be white, blue, and black.

Once home, clean the pipe with solvent, then paint to match with the paint you bought. After it dries, push the wires down through the pipe, and rest the fan near where the fan end of the pipe will be.

Open the junction box of the fan and pull the factory wires through the center shaft. Take the wires extending from the pipe and slide through the hollow fan shaft until they extend out the bottom. Cut each of the factory wires short, then strip the end, and the end of the new wire of the same color, and wire nut together. Do this for the remaining 2 wires.

Screw the pipe into the top of the fan, install the cross pin and cotter.

Move the hanging components from the supplied fan hanging stub to the new pipe, making sure to install exactly as removed from the stub.

Follow the installation directions from here.

The fan is installed but fell down or looks like it was not completed , what do i do to screw the base from the wall to the base of the fan ?

In a typical ceiling installation, the fan assembly is attached to a downrod which, in turn, is securely attached to a junction box in the ceiling.

How to install Hampton bay fan #CF 004-52 on a slanted ceiling

Hi,

I'm an electrician and can help you with your question.

Most (if not all ceiling fans) are designed to hang from most ceilings - flat or angled. This is done through the use of a molded plastic ball secured to the downrod of the fan assembly, that will allow the fan to "self-level" in the hanger

A special "hoop like" hanger is secured to the fan rated electrical box that allows the fan to hang straight down - providing that your ceiling isn't at a real freakish angle - all by itself. The only other thing to watch for is the blades. This is especially true if the new fan has larger blades or a shorter downrod than the old fan. Make sure that the fan blades will clear the ceiling (and enything else for that matter) when running. Otherwise, you will need to use a longer downrod to allow the fan to hang a little lower. Make sure it is not too low to prevent it from striking people walking below it.

Review the installation manual and check out the support "hoop" for the electrical box and the downrod with the plastic ball on the end (may require assembly of the ball to the downrod). You can install the support hoop and hang the downrod to make sure you understand how it works without assembling the rest of the fan.

If you have any problems, you should contact Home Depot (Hampton Bay is a Home Depot house brand) for support.

Good luck!

Where can I purchase a 3/4" downrod coupler for a

From your friendly neighborhood electrician - any electric supply (a business supplying parts to
the electrical & HVAC trade) will either carry Hunter parts, or at the very least be able to
order the parts - why: Hunter is manufactered in the USA. Nearly every other brand of ceiling
fan you'll find at your neighborhood Home Depot or Lowes is manufactured in China.
The typical ceiling fan will come with parts for two configurations: (1) flush, and (2) a optional
3-inch downrod, but commercial installations will somtimes use extended downrods.

The Hunter web site (http://www.hunterfan.com) catalog shows available downrods in several
lengths: 12", 18", 24", 36", 48", 60", and 72".

I found Hunter downrod specifics in the online "core products catalog," at:

what about it doesn't fit? I'd say it should fit. Is it threaded? Is the fan threaded? Are the setscrews on the fan backed all the way out? Is the rod that goes through the top of the fan and the downrod out?

Remote does not do anything, it has a brand new battery. red led works, but no action on the fan or light. thank you

when you remove the battery cover, there is a set of white switches called dip switches. they can be up or down. the transmitter and receiver have to be set to the same code. both have to have the same combinations of up and down switches. the receiver is usually mounted behind the canopy on the fan where the downrod goes into the electrical box. if the remote came with the fan, check hunters website to download an owners manual to tell you where the receiver switches are.

Similar problem: Does Hampton Bay Vaulted Ceiling Mount exist?

Ok so here is the deal. No there does not seem to be a Hampton Bay specific mount. The mount that comes standard in most of the Hampton Bay fans can handle the angle of most standard (read: small) angles. I do not know if it will be the case with all Hunter products, but the adapter for the Hunter fan that I replaced, worked with my new Hampton Bay. So now, I have from the downrod up is from the original Hunter fan. Hope this helps.
