Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5100 All-In-One Printer

I have removed completly kodak and reinstalled still have a problem what can i do ?

Sometimes when programs are uninstall files and directories are still left on your computer There are two things your can do one is after uninstalling the hardware search for folders and files with kodak printer and shift them to a TEMP folder the second thing you can do is download a Registry fix program I use CCleaner and it it free if you download it wit I think file Hippo an option on the web do both of those thing reboot the computer and try istall again

You need to remove the software completely to avaoid getting conflicts when installing back the software
Follow the basic steps

1) enable show hidden files and folder

2) delete C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kodak

3) delete C:\Program Files\Kodak

4) run clear again at www.kodak.com/go/clear

5) reinstall the software at www.kodak.com/go/downloads

Can't find driver for printer?


Try uninstalling the printer driver and then reinstall.

Answer : To uninstall the drivers and all-in-one home center software:
  1. Disconnect the printer from the computer.
  2. Select Start>Settings>Contol Panel>Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Select the Kodak EasyShare all-in-one software.
  4. Click Remove.
  5. When "Click Next to add or remove KODAK EASYSHARE Software components" appears, click Next.
  6. Select Remove.
  7. Click Next.
  8. When the Uninstall Complete window appears, click Continue.
  9. Restart your computer.

You must restart your computer then reinstall again. Pls. use website to get latest version www.kodak.com/go/edl

You need to update your Kodak Easy Share and your printer drivers or try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers .

The reason you are facing the problem is because the present drivers are not compatible with Publisher

Installed with enclosed disc


Looking at the setup guide, it does indeed tell you to not connect the usb cable until prompted by the software. It is Step 7.

Kodak Support has step-by-step instructions for uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Just make sure you remove the USB cable from the computer and reboot before you reinstall.

Battery charge


I called Kodak last night, they told me to turn the camera off, then remove the batteries and the memory card then wait ten seconds then reinstall both. Then turn the camera back on.... IT WORKED~ try it!!
