SOURCE: MCD36 6 disc changer won't
Please remove the top cover and manually rotate the motor to release the loading. It can be due to a warped cd or a motor pulley which had slipped.
Also check if the linking cord to the loading motor is having a continuity.
If not there is fault in the processor controller or the loading IC.

I recommend you check the data cable to your changer. If your unit has been losing power it could be a loose connection or a loose ground. Check both. As for the allowing only one CD at a time, I'm not sure about that one. The only way to reset electronics is to disconnect the power and leave it off for about 15 minutes. This usually clears all radios, and vehicle computers for that fact. If the changer is not that old, you might utilize a warranty at this point. If it is past warranty dates, then make sure you are cleaning the reader and the cartridge. There may also be something in the player blocking the entry of the CDs. Hope this helps.
