Re: how to unlock control lock on ge monogram side by...
I just bought a ge refrigerator GSHF6KEZBC, after installing it, i pressed the lock button for 3 secs and it locked. Now i cant unlock it. I pressed the lock button again for 3 secs and it did not unlock. The light is still lit. Is there a way to do a master reset?
Can somebody help me Please?

Try replacing the Water Valve. It is located in the back of the refrigerater, left side. You should see three tubes connected to it. This part fixes the following symptoms - Leaking water, Water dispenser will not dispense water, Ice maker will not make ice and Ice maker won't dispense ice. GE part#WR57X10032. The Water Valve is extreemly easy to replace. Only takes about 15 mins total time to remove, install and confirm. I just replaced mines..my problem went from leaking water to no water was dispensing at all. I have the GE Profile, it uses the same water valve as your GE Monogram. There is a You Tub video that also shows how to replace. Good Luck!
my monogram ice maker wont make ice. it is on, the water fills the pan but thats as far as it gets. the area is cold. the hoses appear open. i have cleaned the dust of the compresser. what else can i do before i call the repair man?
Hi, The first step you need to do is to turn the water off to the refrigerator so it quits making until you get it fixed. If your fridge has the control boards in each side of the freezer cabinet that controls the icemaker, then you have a failed board. If you have a standard icemaker with the metal shutoff arm then you have a failed motor module in the icemaker. You can remove the icemaker and unplug the wiring connector from it so you can leave the water on to the dispenser.

Have you checked your water valve? I dont have your model number but you could have what you call a double water valve and one side of it may be out, alternately you may need to change your water filter if you havent done that yet. I have seen were the water stops dispensing first and then stops making ice. have you changed the filter lately? If not change it then if that doesnt work check water inlet valve...
the water dispenser does not dispense water, although i can hear the motor running, but water is reaching the ice maker. any tips? You may have a clogged water line or filter something blocking the flow of the water or you may have to replace the filter or a water line – it may have a defective sending unit / pump and it would be wise to check it out with a regular service tech and to also check your owner’s manual for troubleshooting.
ok that paddle acuates a micro switch up in the door people have a habit of getting their drinks then gitting their ice this splashes sticky liquid on the switche and makes it stick the easist thing to try first is to get a can of wd 40 with the tube on it and spray the swich and work the paddle back and forth if that dont work then we will have to replace the switch so get back with me
