Question about Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Full Version for PC

Outlook 2007 Calendar won't open. Freezes Outlook.

Ever since I went on Windows 7, I have had problems with Outlook Calendar. For whatever reason, suddenly I can't open it. Mail and Contacts work fine. But, if I click on Calendar, the whole program (not the computer) locks up. I have run scanpst and cleanprofile and cleanreminders and resetfolders and and and... nothing works. :(

You can use RecoveryFix for Outlook recovery software for the recovery of folders, calendars, tasks, appointments, deleted and missing emails etc. This utility does not modify the corrupt PST file, the tool just retrieves the data and stores into new PST file.To know more visit http://www.outlookpstrepair.recoveryfix.com

Hi,
In order to get back contacts from your Outlook, you have to make use of any good repair software like Yodot Outlook PST repair. Do not get confused with its name because even if its name is repair software, it can recover deleted outlook contacts, calender, tasks etc. Therefore just download its trial version and start recovering your deleted items.

Do you know where your office folder is? If you do copy the outlook file to the desktop. It should be named outlook.pst unless you renamed it.
Create a new profile and it the claender works then the pst is corrupt. If it is corrupt then copy the original pst to the desktop and run scanpst on it. When it finds error fix it. You will not need to back it up because this is a backup on the desktop. Run scanpst till it stops finding errors. Then import it into your new profile. To find scanpst go to start and search. Go to files and folder. Then type scanpst.exe. Choose the one that looks like a broken envelope.

SOURCE: Outlook 2007 Windows Vista will not allow hyperinks

Hello,

You might find the answer to your question here:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA012299621033.aspx

In short:

Stop disabling links and functionality in all messages

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail.
3. Clear the Disable links and other functionality in phishing messages (recommended) check box.

Note If you decide to select this check box later, Outlook will disable all the links in messages that were evaluated as suspicious by the Junk E-mail Filter, and you will receive warnings about suspicious links.

Also read the complete topic. There is some interesting stuff inside..

How do i sync my htc hd7 phone (windows mobile) with outlook xp

I have Outlook 2010 client on my PC. My ISP mail account is forwarded to Outlook via POP3 mail account. I also have a gmail account to which I forward all mail to from my ISP mail address. My gmail calendar is bi-directionally synchronised to my Outlook calendar using 'Google Calendar Sync' and likewise my gmail contacts are bi-directionally synchronised to my Outlook contacts using 'Go Contact Sync'. then it was a simple matter on my Windows Phone 7 to create a Google mail account to my gmail account. I can create contacts, calendar entries in either Outlook, Gmail or my phone and they are all sync'd with each other. 'Google Calendar Sync' and 'Go Contact Sync'' are free downloads.

Office Outlook 2007 crashing everytime

Hey,

I was having the same problem with Outlook 2007 on my Laptop, looked for all the possible resolutions but no Clue..
Then I tried to check the addins I was using in Outlook 2007, I found that after disabling the unnecessary addins from Regsitry I am able to use outlook 2007 without any issues.

For Disabling the outlook addisn you have to go to:
Start> Run> Type Regedit> Hit Entre> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>MICROSOFT>OFFICE> OUTLOOK>ADDINS there you will find all the Addins, Please right click on the onw which is not required to go to modify & change the value to 0.
It will disable the Addins from Registry. we can enable the Addin when ever required.

Close & re launch your Outlook.

Hope this will help you in resolving the issue related to the outlook crashing.

Cheers!!!!

In the end after a week of various solutions not working and having upgraded to windows 7 to no avail, I finally cured the problem myself on a trial and error basis. Outlook 2007 upgrade freezes on startup

You say that you have upgraded to Outlook 2007 from Outlook 2003; were you using any personal folders (.pst) in Outlook 2003?

If the asnwer is yes; then were these personal folders created in Outlook 2003 or some earlier version of Outlook? In any case, if the older type personal folders are large in size, these can cause Outlook 2007 to stop responding or freezing.

Close Outlook 2007; right click on the Outlook icon showing in the startup programs bar and choose properties; choose 'Show Profiles'; choose copy profile and then choose this new profile in the 'Always use this profile' option.

Outlook 2007 should now work fine.

Outlook 2007

Most reported problems of this type have involved the Calendar, and allowing the display of tasks. If your calendar is activated, and tasks permitted to display simultaneously (default operation), this is often the cause.

If this does not apply to your situation, we can investigate further, if you could tell me a little more about your OS and hardware. Thanks for rating FixYa!

T5 Outlook Calendar Synchronization failed - Any one have a fix?

I went to the MY COMPUTER folder, clicked open PROGRAM FILES, open PALMONE folder, open the username folder and deleted the back-up files. However, before I did this I deleted all of the problems dates in the PC calendar and set the hotsync to PC overrides handheld. While this works, unfortunately I have found that I need to do it every once in a while which is very disappointing. It seems that Windows does not operate seamlessly with the Palm T5. I find that the hotsync crashes 50% of the time forcing me to reset my Palm T5. No information is lost, but it is really a pain in the *** to have to do so often. Versamail hotsync sometimes freezes on the handheld, but that is another issue which I have managed to fix much in the same way as describe above.
