I have misplaced the powerfoot/connector for my silvercrest sewing machine in transit and need a replacment where would i get this

This one is in 3 languages, but it is worth the read. The diagram to choose the patterns from the frony of the machine are on page 28. Hope this helps.

I think #39 on this link is the presser foot lever.
#13 on this link is the instruction manual.
If you're looking for the foot control, that is #16 on the first link.

Yes it does sound like a faulty foot control. The power cord is probably fine, you just need the controller. Ebay is a good source for parts.
