Front breaks lock up,while driving, park for a few minutes, breaks are fine

Could be that the callipers are jamming or the wheel is running tight. Check for wheel spin with the front wheels off the ground, they should spin with minimum effort. Could also be something wrong with the master cylinder. It may not be releasing properly and slowly building pressure to lock the brakes. After sitting for a while, it returns to normal position and releases the brakes. Mt Ford had a dud wheel bearing which would intermittently start to seize. When this happened, the anti lock braking system thought that the wheel was about to lock and would throw the brakes on and off without warning... Check your wheel bearings too.

I have a 2002 chevy trailblazer LS. I have a front brake problem where I feel the that front brakes are activated lightly while im driving. it feels like im towing something behind me while im driving.

You need some good local help. The booster could be holding on. If you jack up the front end, start up, press and release the brakes, check the wheels spin. Switch off, press the pedal several times to exhaust the booster, see if the wheels spin. If either of both drag then get help to delve deeper. If OK then repeat at the back. Also while at the back see if the park brake is dragging. Don't drive it until you get to the bottom of it because excessive brake temp can lead to failure. It could also be very expensive. Is it 4x4? If so look at the trans functioning properly, hubs, driveshafts etc.

My 2002 chevy silverado locks up and won't move in 4 wheel drive

most if all problems with the chevy 4x4 at the beginning of problems are the electronics the switches they put crap in the truck and wonder why so many problems to anyone whom sees a problem at the start should first and i mean first clean all the contacts on 4x4 switches the two on the dash and then one on transfer case the one inside the dash sits where people sit drinks like coffee then it runs down dash and onto the switch inside dash you need to take it out clean it good i have fixed more 4x4 problems with doing this first you will not hear this from the dealerships they will tell you you need to replace them when all it is that they need a good cleaning i also take the switch on dash apart and clean contacts then the lights work please try contact cleaner first and more times over it will fix your problems

2002 Chevy 4wd

maby im wrong but if you rev up and only rear wheels spin that means that it might be 4 wheel drive but not constant 4 wheel drive or diff lock system ,,,, ,, in 4 wheel drive all wheells will turn together but if pressure of slip is bad enough or torque high enough only 2 wheels will drive ,,, thats why diff lock locks wheels together in each axle to over come this ,,, all wheel drive like in landrover locks all 4 wheels together to ensure all wheels rotate to give best grip

I have a 94 Chevy suburban I put it in 4 wheel drive bit it don't lock in what could be the problem

Check first the linkages. It may be an issue with the transfer case for the 4x4 or the sensors at the wheels. It may need cleaning or is faulty.

Our 1997 GMC Sierra locks rear wheels suddenly

More likely to be a rear end issue. If the brakes have been checked I would have your rear end checked. Could turn into a very dangerous situation.
