SOURCE: karcher 2500 no pressure problem

sounds like you have an inlet blockage to the pump or not enough volume to feed the pump. make sure hose is turned full on when washing and see what happens. if not you may have to remove adapter wher hose screws in and check for a blockage.

SOURCE: Tried to use my karcher

Dear jingles 2,
I am assuming that the electric motor turns and that the pump works also. I always try a test by removing the gun and try the machine without a gun...but very important with water being fed. NEVER run a power washer without water supply!! I remove the gun to test without load.
Now most probably your machine just the same will not build up pressure. If without gun attached, it builds up pressure...... you will surely see the difference.
Now if there is no pressure it could be a problem with the valves. To check this put on the machine with water being fed and without gun. Try to block the outlet with your hands or 2 figers ( HOPING YOU HAVE SAFETY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM!!!!).....if you feel from this outlet that your fingers are being sucked....then the suction valves need changing. There are 3 valves for suction (and other 3 for delivery)....if only one of them got stuck open, maybe with some dirt...the machine loses power.
You can test the other 3 valves by putting you fingers on the inlet for a few seconds....if you feel pushing...inlet valves are also faulty.
Loss of power could also be to a faulty regulating valve (Spill Valve). I rarely service spill valves...I always change with a new one. In fact if I service the Valves I change the spill valve.....and if I service the spill valve I change the valves. Ofcorce all gaskets must be changed.
If you are going to service your self...you have to open the cover (using a Torx screw driver T15)....then you locate the head. If you remove the head there is oil, which also have to be renewed.
The spill valve you find where you see 2 wires coming out from a place near the head. This calls for special Technician know how....but if you have the tools and spares neccessary...it is childs play.
I wish to add hat if a valve is found blocked but not damaged..you may not need to change the three valves. Check the valves by putting water into them placing them upside down....if by gravity the water escapes the valves need changing. Important that all 6 valves I advice to change if there is a doubt. Also before doing this did you check if the machine still stops when closing the gun? In fact I doubt it, because of the problem you mentioned.
Regards,
Fulltech.

SOURCE: I don't get a constant

Make sure that while you are running your pressure washer, other machines that pull

large volumes of water like a dishwasher or washing machine are not running. check and make sure

the hose you have tied to the pressure washer is not collapsing or has any kinks in it.

check the filter where your water hose ties in to your pressure washer, make sure it

is clean and does not have any debris or hardwater buildup, clean the tip at the tip of

the wand. if it is reduced in size by hardwater buildup, will not work properly, good luck!

I have a karcher kb9030 pressure washer it runs fine but has no pressure in the lance it seems as if the water isn't been pressurised

I assume you have run some water through the supply hose before connecting it up, they don't like pumping air. The most likely problem is a blockage at the inline filter where the supply hose enters the unit. If there is no filter there then the problem may be more serious. Grit may have entered the pump and worn out the pistons and then you may as well buy a new one because it won't be worth repairing.

Karcher4.600 leaking

The pump on this unit almost certainly has damaged valves. The literature says its a "maintenance-free" pump; read, "no parts available - disposable pump".

So--the leak at the outlet is most likely a worn o-ring and easily fixable. Most places that sell home-owner class pressure washers sell the o-rings for those couplings (they are not Karcher specific). And then shop around for a pump. Ebay, or online Karcher dealers or if there is local Karcher dealer.... The point being is you may find a lot of variability in price.

There is nothing technical at all about replacing the pump. It will be bolted to the motor, usually with 4 bolts, and it just slides right off/on the motor shaft. The hardest part will be removing the plumbing from the old pump and putting it on the new pump. I wouldn't be surprized if the new pump came with new in/out plumbing. Look into that before chasing an 0-ring for the leaking coupler. You may wind up with a new coupling anyway.

I hope this is helpful, and that you'll take a second to rate me if it is.

My karcher 645 has three lights on the right side of the control panel. The bottom one that looks like a heater temprature warning light keep flashing when im using the machine. Is this normal or do i have...

I'm not a karcher dealer, but I'll comment. I'm assuming you've misplaced your owner's manual -- so the only way you'll know for sure is to contact karcher.com..... or a dealer.

That said, I'm pretty sure your blinking light is just bells and whistles kind of stuff. It most likely is a reminder that its time to change the diesel filter. Which means it has some "re-set" procedure. I just wouldn't worry about it.

Check the screen at the inlet, where the water hose hooks up. These get clogged often because bugs like to crawl up inside hoses and build nests. If it is not that, then you either have a problem with the valves (popet) or the unloader part of the pump. You will need to look at a parts break-down and access these for disassymbly to determine if they are damaged. Find replacement parts either in your owner's manual or Karcher web site or pressure washer dealer in the yellow pages. Good luck.

Karcher 3600 gx390 backfires

Usually this (back-fire/after-fire) happens because of a dirty carburetor, or bad gas. Gas can go bad with age or it can be bad because of water from condensate. I'm not familiar with this particular engine, but if it more than 1 spark plug, a fouled-out plug can also be the culprit. If you clean your carburetor, I suggest just using a bit of gas to soak it and brush it etc. That carburetor cleaner is rough stuff and it will burn you badly. I don't use it unless I've got a stubborn one. Hope this helps.

Siphon only works on low pressure. Put low pressure tip on wand to get it working right. All other tips will not allow fluids to flow out fast enough to build siphon pressure / draw.

My Karcher pressure washer pulsates and the water pressure is not as good as when I first got it

your pressure bypass valve is leaking water pressure by and not building full pressure

Pulsating when idle

The motor doesn't pulsate when you are spraying and pulsattes when not spraying is normal otherwise the pressure will just keep building and burn out the pump. However, if you are not using the sprayer right away then the unit should be shut off until your ready to start again.
I hope the answer is helpful, please rate if the answer has helped in any way. Good Luck and have a great weekend.
