SOURCE: Trying to sort aux-in

Hi,
as you do not mention the model I have to guess that your player has a aux-in on phono (or RCA) jack. If you want to plug the iPod just buy a "Twin phono to 3.5mm stereo jack cable".
You can find in many superstores or Maplin.

SOURCE: Aux. Input Jack

I had the same problem. I opened up the box and used a glue gun to reattach the aux jack from the inside.

I understand the problem. It should be the relay which is not responding, technically not able to connect the system power supply, you will have to replace the relay. The STK chip should be working fine.

SOURCE: aux input for MP3 player

I'am an M.B. tech- I do not beleive that this radio is mp3 compatable- iknow that the input you are refering to is used for ipod use. It very well could be that the head unit has to be programed(basically informed0 for an mp3- i would call the service dept. and ask to talk to ther best audio tech savay mechanic. Most likley the service writer wouldn.t know or give you false information because they do not stay on top of all the little tecnical changes. This fiber optic system has many programing features- most have to be done with as sds laptop(dealer software only) good luck

How do I hook up my ipod to my pioneer vsx d409 ?

The best way is to use a 3,5mm stereo jack to 2 RCA cable like this:
technical114_34.jpg
You can easily find one like this at your local audio/electronics shop or buy one on line. You have to connect the RCA at any free stereo input at the back of your Pioneer (like aux or cd). Take a look at this picture:
technical114_35.jpg
After this you can use the 3.5mm stereo jack for connecting not only your ipod but every mp3 player or other device has an earphone jack. Just plug the 3.5mm jack at the earphone jack and rise the volume at the portable device up to the middle of the volume range and set your Pioneer input selector at the stereo input that you connect the 2 RCA before (aux or cd)

How do I connect my samsung mm-c330 micro hi-fi system to my computer

If you want to amplify the sound you will probably need an adapter. You will use the audio output jack on your computer to an input jack on your receiver. There are usually several different inputs on a receiver but most use RCA phono plugs. The best choice input jack one the receiver is the one that says "AUX". You can buy the adapter cord at any Radio Shack. You will need to be sure to ask for a 1/8 inch stereo phone plug to two RCA phono plugs. This will split the stereo signal into left and right channels for your receiver.

What jack is compatible to laptop using shure

You have to connect the unbalanced output (the 6.3mm jack) to the laptop's line in (or mic with setting the rec level at very low settings) 3.5mm jack. In details the wiring should be as follows:
6,3mm jack shield to 3,5mm jack shield
6,3mm jack ring to 3,5mm jack shield
6,3mm jack tip to 3,5mm jack tip and ring

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post.

I have a aiwa xr-avh80 i want to attatch my mp3 player so i can listen throgh the hi-fi how am i supposd to do this and what wire i will need

Your Aiwa must have an input socket such as tape, CD, or Aux at the back or you won't be able to connect it.
If it has an imput you can get a Dock for it. This will keep it powered up so you don't run the battery down while you are playing it.
Another way and much cheaper is to get a 3.5mm Jack plug to two RCA phono plugs lead. These are widely available from your Hi-Fi dealer. All you need to do is put the RCA plugs in the input of your Aiwa and the Jack into your headphone output of the MP3 player and presto job done!

Hello

Ok, if you have the mini jack, you are half way there, you need a cable wich goes from mini jack to rca. Just plug in the mini jack cable into your Ipod and the rca cbles into the back of the HI FI in a input. Now just set the HI FI to the input device and you should be set. Hope this can help.

Can I play the music from my blackberry on this radio?

Hello

Yes, you can do this, but you need a certain cable to enable you to do this. You need a mini jack, which plugs into the blackberry, to RCA which plugs into the Hi Fi system. If you find the cable(You can make it yourself), you just plug the mini jack into your phone, and the RCA into the HI FI, and set the HI FI to the certain input setting and it should work perfectly. Hope this can solve your problem.

Best regards

Can I plug my MP3 player into the aux. socket on my car radio, with the appropriate cable and play the stored music?

You should be able to do that as long as you have the right cable.

Most of the mp3 players have a "mini-stereo" jack (3.5mm) and some car stereos have the same type of jack for "aux" input, and others car stereos have RCA jacks for the "aux" input.

Even if the jacks are not the same type, you can use an adapter cable that converts the mini-stereo jack to an RCA jack. You can find them at many places like Best Buy, Circuit City or Radio Shack.

Depending on the type of car stereo you have, you would normally press the source button to change between the tuner, cd player, aux or whatever you may have connected to the stereo. You may even have a seperate button to press for the "aux" input.

I hope this was helpful to you, if you need more information just ask, and please give more info on the type of mp3 player and the make and model number of the car stereo.

Surround Sound using the video feature

You will not get 'surround sound' from this set only stereo sound. The Video/Aux jack at the back of the unit is an input terminal. You can connect the audio part of your TV(if it has a Line Out jack), dvd player or video game console to this input to get the sound through the stereo system. Use a male-to-male RCA cable to make the connection, they are color coded (Red and White). Press the "Video/Aux"  button to select the input terminal.

Downloading music from internet to an MP3 player

I guess Sanyo means that have an input jack (line in or aux) where you can connect your mp3 player (after you've downloaded music into it), then hear it on your hi-fi.

Just make sure you connect either the line out or the earphone jack from your mp3 player to the aux or line-in on your hi-fi, then set the hi-fi to play aux or line-in.
