Hello thanks for using Fixya In HP PSC 1210 All-In-One InkJet Printer cleaning the cartridge is not difficult, but it is
important to use the appropriate technique. The things you need is
"Cotton swabs" & "Distilled water" Now follow this procedure
Open the front door of the printer, located below the scanner
lid, by swinging it down. The print cartridges will move to a position
where they can be accessed
Unplug the printer to prevent the cartridge dock from moving away from the center of the printer.
Press an ink cartridge down until you feel a "click" then pull it out of the dock.
Dip a cotton swab in distilled water and use it to clean any
built-up ink from the metal contacts on the ink cartridge and from the
area around the ink nozzle. Avoid touching the nozzle itself, which is
located in the center of the bottom of the cartridge. Discard the cotton
swab if it becomes dirty, and use another to continue cleaning. Keep
cleaning until the ink cartridge is no longer dirty, then set the ink
Remove the second ink cartridge and repeat the cleaning process. Set both cartridges aside until they are completely dry
Replace an ink cartridge by holding it slightly below the
dock, then pushing it up and in until it snaps into place. Do the same
with the second cartridge. The black cartridge is inserted into the
right slot on the dock, while the color cartridge is inserted into the
Close the front door of the printer, plug the printer back in, and turn it on.

Verify that the paper you're using has KODAK XTRALIFE Paper or a "G" inside
a circle (for G600 series printer docks) on the back. Do not use 4- by 6-inch
Insert the paper tray into the printer.
Open the color cartridge door, then remove the color cartridge.
If the color cartridge ribbon is torn or damaged, replace it with a new
Install the color cartridge, and verify that it is fully engaged.
Close the color cartridge door.
Connect the power cable to the printer.
Wait for the printer to initialize (the paper may eject automatically).
The printer's lights turn on. And after a few seconds, most or all of the
printer's lights turn off. The printer will make noises while cycling. If a
paper is stuck in the printer, while the printer is making the noises, pull
gently on the paper to try and remove it.

I read this solution to a problem someone else was having which was similar to my problem. I wiped off the roller with a damp cloth, made sure it was dry and that's all it took to allow the roller to be able to start to pull the paper through. - thanks for the help!
Press the power button to turn off the printer. Hold down the transfer and left arrow button at the same time. While holding them down at the same time turn on the power button. Let it go through the initialization process and once completed, the head should be in the up position. Open the cartridge door and push the cartridge to make sure it is latched and locked in place. Once the cartridge is latched, release the latch and the cartridge should release itself. Remove the cartridge from the printer.
turn off your printer. Press and hold down the left arrow and the transfer button, turn on printer while holding them down, you should hear your printer make some noises, This will be the head lining up. Open the side door to gain access to the cartridge, push on it to see that it i s"locked" in. Lift up on the Green release button on the inside and your cartridge should come free on its own. Be careful not to try and pry it out for this can void your warranty! http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to/video/how-to-remove-a-stuck-cartridge-on-a-kodak-g600-printer-dock-249276/view/
