Try removing the platen by squeezing the black plastic latches at both ends and lifting out the roll. you will probably find debris on the tray or build up on the rolls.

There is a plastic cap on the end of the print solenoid plunger whichis probably broken. They are available fron us for 15.00 including postage but can be a little tricky to install

Could be many things. Take off the case and look for parer clips, staples or other debris on or under the PC board or in the power supply.
