Only if you have LoJack installed or if you have a cell phone you left in the car or even an iPod you might be able to get the location of your car... Good luck I hope you find you car
Actually that means you have a misfire in cylinder number one, check plug, check wire, check coil. If you have water in cylinder number 1, then u have a blown head gasket but codes do not say anything about water being present.
you would be a fool not to.
as long as the car is in your name and you have not reported it stolen then any traffic violations come back to you and robberies that the car is used in involves you as an accomplish and if the car is involved in a smash and you didn't report it stolen the the insurance company may not pay you as you agreed to allow the driver to use your car.
You do not need a puller! DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND WAIT 10 MINUTES! The top plastic cover on the steering column has to come off on the XC60. Release the steering adjuster and pull the column out and down. You will see a rubber seal. This has 10 clips that have to gently pried off. You can then remove the plastic upper cover from the front. (Nearest the steering wheel) It pulls up and out of the front clips and the bottom has lugs that slide out towards you if you are sat in drivers seat. Next the fun begins. You need a flat blade (s)crew driver with a 5.2mm blade end. (A 5mm works) You need to turn the steering wheel until you expose a rectangular slot in the back of it where the cover came from. Insert the (s)crew driver with the blade flat and level and touching the bottom of the hole. This will take a few attempts but you need to get the (s)crew driver under a clip and then turn the (s)crew driver 90 degrees to open the clip. You can then pull the airbag out slightly. (That is not easy either) once it is out about 10mm turn the steering 180 degrees and do the same with the other one. The air bag is now lose but the wires are very short. There is one position you can lay it where you can disconnect the two plugs which have the usual type of push in clips securing them. Put the airbag out of the way somewhere safe and facing up. You can now losen the 13mm bolt retaining the steering wheel but do not remove it yet. With the steering wheel straight, look in the cavity and at the bottom left is a small torx head (s)crew. If it won't unscrew, gently lever it out. Through the steering inner section at about the 11 "O" clock position you can see a slip ring. There is a small hole where the (s)crew goes into and locks into a recess to stop it moving. When it is locked you can remove the main steering wheel bolt taking car not to turn the steering wheel. If you have steering controls there will another plug to undo and you can then remove the steering wheel. There are two pins that go into the rear of the steering wheel so when you put it back together make sure they go properly and then reverse the above procedure. Do not forget to remove the little (s)crew a put it back where it cam from. The main bolt should be torques to 45nm.
Muth makes the signal mirrors for repalcing the glass in the mirror head. On the site, they have nice instructions you can use for removing the door panel, and getting the mirror off ( obviously stop at the removing the glass part, and just replace with the mirror head you already have ).
Enter the Make, MY, and model you have, and on the products page are the links to the PDF version of the instructions for download.
that is actualy a fact the reason is the pressure screws that are placed to hold these in place are actualy pressed in place. ok Well this is the deal you need a dremel Rotary tool and the cutting discs to cut a notch in the head of the of this screw for a flat tip screw driver to fit and then you just remove head on over to a junker do the same and reinstall
GM has had issues with their security chip shutting down cars and trucks because it thinks it's being stolen. Check with service department at the dealers to see about any recalls.
ok we know your not responable for any car stolen in your area. around your steering wheel the are screws that hold on the cover. depending on the make and modle you might need star shape or allen wreches. remove this. then you should have a screw or pin or something holding the igntion in place. remove it. then take a flat head screwdriver and turn it forward. this should be no problem unless there is some kind of anitheft or alarm on it.
