hello of corse ... sir want to get thread tape befor trying to fix the head . unscrew the head of the shower not the arm. after unscrewing the head ,look at the back were the thred is, there will be a siff. thust clean out the sif, put thread tape on the head again and bobs your uncel hehe. if that dosent fix it let me know .
First isolate which side (hot or cold) that the leak is coming from by turning off one or the other valved under the sink. once you know if its the hot or cold faucet, then shut off all water supply to the sink and remove that faucet handle with a very small allen wrench ( there should be a set screw in the side of the handle) inside of the valve (handle) there will be little rubber seals like o-rings that are worn out and need replacing. you can purchase them at home depot or a hardware store
