Yes, there are electrical nibblers that work just as good as the pneumatic ones. of course, there are also handheld manual nibblers too

I just bought a craftsman pneumatic 1/2-in drive impact wrench. And used it with my craftsman 4-gallon 1hp air compressor tried to loosen the bolts on my car wheel wouldn't loosen them help

Pneumatic tools are rated in cfm (cubic feet per minute). Your 1 HP air compressor is rated at probably not more than 3 cfm while the 1/2 " impact driver needs at least 8 cfm, maybe 12 chm of air.
The compressor must provide more chm than tool rating needs.
It is a problem, by the time you look at five horse power air compressors and larger, a lot of electric power is needed. A circuit of 220 volts, 20, 30, or more amps would be required to run those large expensive compressors.
If you can, return the air tool and get a good electric tool instead.
Leave those high air volume air tools to shops that are so equipped to use, or invest if you must.

Powermate nibbler won't work

Put some air motor lube oil in the air inlet and then hook up air supply. If that doesn't do it then open the motor to see if there is a stuck vane.

Chicago pnematic 8gal air compressor will not start

Well it should be limited to a bad pressure switch, overload/overtemp switch(if it has one), or a bad motor. You can check for power with a multi-meter set on a/c volts and see if you have power to your motor. A more 'backyard' approach would be to jumper your power directly to the motor, bypassing the switches, but that could be dangerous especially if you left your switches bypassed because the compressor would never shut off and eventually hopefully blow your overpressure valve.

What grade oil do I use to change out on my Chicago Pneumatic RPC-561VNS? The manual says a compressor grade non-deturgent oil should be used, but does no specify a grade.

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.

Compressor grade oils are basically SAE30 W oil. Read this:

Rol-Air OILCOMP30W34C Air Compressor Pump Oil - 30W Quart features ,
Specially engineered and tested to match the requirements of Rol-Air air
compressors , Provides superior rust and corrosion protection.

I.e SAE 30W oil / the same thing you would use in an older lawn mower engine or generator.

What they don't tell you is because they have re-labeled the 30W oil to OILCOMP30W they can charge you big time for SAE 30W oil. The only difference is the label.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

I have a Husky air compressor model WL651004AJ. The problem is that it builds pressure initially up to 75 psi then shuts off. I have to turn off the power switch, wait about 5 minutes, turn the switch back...

It sounds like you need to replace the run capacitor , if yours is weak or defective the motor will overheat. Check "Drillspot" for a replacement. Another major cause of overheating is due to a dirty air filter , you should check it first.

My 1998 Ford anger xlt has a fuse problem...Air conditioner doesn't work and cigerette lighter doesn't work. Are they on the same circuit? I don't have an owners manual. Thanks

Not sure what you mean when you say an air conditioner problem like if the compressor clutch isn't engaging or the blower motor isn't working, that kind of thing. Anyhow, I am about 99 percent sure they are not in any case. What I did do for you is give you pictures of the fuse layouts as well as the descriptions for each fuse (see below). You mentioned that you didn't have an owners manual. If you would like a copy, email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. Don't worry, there is no cost for it. I hope this helps and good luck.

QRS-15 CP Rotoray screw. Is it OK to use Amsoil 20W synthetic compressor oil to top of the original ISO 68 oil it came with? Thanks Jon Owen

G'day.
I guess only if the ISO 68 oil is also a full synthetic- otherwise no.
I would not mix them.
I would want to change all the oil & ALL the filters (including the seperator) before switching between a mineral & synthetic oil.

So it would be much safer/better to top up with the same oil until the next scheduled service & then switch to the better synthetic oil.

I hope this helped(I ran a compressor repair buisness in Sydney for 10 yrs)
Kind regards Andrew Porrelli
