This type of sensor monitors if a glass door or window has been broken. It does this by keeping tabs on vibrations coming from the glass. If the vibrations are over a certain amount (this occurs when the glass shatters) then the sensor will notice.

Give some tips on buying accessories for Car alarm Security systems

To gauge present and future needs, the consumer should carefully examine all of the options and include features that they might not necessarily need now but could later. For instance, the glass breaking sensor may not make sense for someone who parks and drives their car in a low crime area, but they may take their car on vacation sometime where the risk of breaking glass is higher. People with factory installed security systems can also upgrade their alarms with additional features like added sensors and engine shutdown if the alarm goes off. While buying a car alarm from retailers or online may take a bit of searching and comparing options, it is time well spent to protect one's investment and family. Additionally, the alarm will pay for itself over time in savings from insurance. Finding a car alarm is easy on eBay as it makes it easy to search and choose reliable sellers.

What is a glass cutter?

"A glass cutter is a tool used to make a shallow score in one surface of a piece of glass that is to be broken in two pieces. The scoring makes a split in the surface of the glass which encourages the glass to break along the score." (Wikipedia)

Pinball keeps bouncing up and hitting the glass, is this going ot scratch or break the glass?

Pinball machine glass tops are made out of tempered glass, they would have to take a direct hard hit to break. I've been playing for years and nothing has scratched or cracked yet so you shouldn't worry about it.

Change battery ws4904p

First, make sure you have the correct replacement battery. Go ahead and get a Lithium CR123A battery. These are rather expensive at retail, so do yourself a favor and get as many as you need at an online source such as Amazon. These sensors require one battery. The DSC glass break sensors in our home required two. Our glass break sensor went out within a week of the motion sensor, so I just replaced all of them. YMMV.

Second, determine which way the sensor is housed in the, uh, housing. The "bottom" will have a small tab with a circle in the middle, like the picture below.

As you can see from my incredimazing MS Paint skillz, use your knuckles to gently tap the sensor away from the tab. It should pop right off. This can be annoying if you don't have lightning speed and cat-like reflexes to prevent it from falling behind the entertainment center.

Once the sensor is removed from the housing, push the battery cover off of the battery compartment. Remove the old battery, and install the replacement in the same direction. Put the cover back on, and then align the sensor in the housing until it is flush with the bottom part of the housing. Remember to recycle the old battery if at all possible. Good luck!

Glassdesks have certain disadvantages. First, too much load on them will make itbreak, which could be really dangerous. Second, glass leaves hand prints, whichshould be cleaned often. Third, they are more expensive than wood and metaldesks.

Replace cam sensor on 2000 4.7 v8 grand cheerokee

Put front emd on ramp, carry out all the safety stuff, block wheels, disconnent battery, wear safety glasses etc etc.
The crankshaft sensor is behind the starter motor, see pic, remove the two bolts (15mm) from the starter motor, move it to one side as in pic, You can then get at the sensor, use 13mm socket remove bolt then twist the sensor out, I had to use a screwdriver to break the seal and lever it a little.
total time about 40 mins start to finish

Changing bathroom window

use a reciprocating saw to cut around the outside edge of the frame to cut the screws that are holding it in. this way the whole unit can be removed without breaking the glass. if you dont have one and have no option but to break the glass try covering the glass with a sticky backed plastic like you use to cover old kitchen shelves. this will hold the glass as you break it stopping pieces flying all over.

2006 toyota solara, alarm keeps going off

Those cars have a frequency sensor that is attuned to the exact sound frequency of breaking glass. Are there any noises nearby that resemble glass shattering? Wind chimes? Any type of extraneous noise at the freq of glass breakage will set off the alarm.
