Can't find any website to download a Targus webcam driver

You should be able to get an install program for free from the support area of the Targus website.

The requested resource ( Targus-USB-PC-Camera-Model-AVC04AP )can be downloaded by clicking DOWNLOAD or by pointing your browser to

Supported OS include: Windows XP and Vista (WQHL certified)

Note: It appears that this camera's driver is bundled with another accessory item offered by Targus ( BAP0011 "Mobile Conference USB Webcam and Stereo Headset Solution Pack" ) --thus creating difficulty in locating and/or isolating the targeted camera model and its subsequent download-able goodness!

Before connecting the camera you need to download and install camera software. Go to the manufacturer website and download camera software. Keep camera disconnected untill asked by driver setup program.

1st You download Webcam Driver.
I need drivers for my targus web cam
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

If google and manufacturer website are of no help then ask a driver search agency like http://manualfox.com/driver.htm - They do a great job.
The service is not for free, but often worthy (you only pay if they find what you are asking for).

If you have Targus camera then you must be having its CD too. Insert the Cd and let it autorun. Install the drivers and reboot the PC. When it reboots, connect the camera to it and allow windows to detect the camera and load its drivers. Once the drivers are loaded then use the camera with the help of its SW that also will be installed from the CD.

You have to reinstall the driver for webcam. You can download it from here> Driver for Webcam

I guess that is the reason that the Taqrgus website doesn't list it. You could go to the HP website , look up the model, if you still have the number, and see if they supplied a driver for that camera?
