Most large sporting goods shops (Cabala\'s, Bass Pro Shops, Dicks Sporting Goods to name a few) have assorted cover caps available for a couple dollars.

How to align bonoculars

Cheaper binoculars may have no adjustment means for this at all (it is called "collimation"). Properly it should be done by adjusting the front lens in its seat, and quality binoculars have an eccentric ring around the lens under the clamp ring so that can be done.

Your Tasco probably does not have that, so look under the covering material on the barrels (it may be stuck down) for 2 small screws over the prism eg

Gross collimation can be done in daylight, but fine adjustment is best done with a point source like a star.

My grandson dropped the binoculars and now I see double. How can I fix this? These worked great until this happened. I see the screws on either side of the eyepieces but don't know if I am supposed to use...

Hello. When the binocs were dropped one of the lenses popped out of it's retaining frame. If this is an old set you can open it up and see what you can do. However, my recommendation is to call Tasco Customer Service at: (800) 423-3537. Opening it up will void any warranty and introduce dust into the interior which will appear and annoy you. Joe

Zoom lens loose in tasco binoculars

Best to take this to a repair agent as there are inherent problems in trying to fix these by yourself. Main one being zoom registration between both sides of the binocular.

Replacement parts for Tasco binoculars

You'll need to measure your eyepiece in "mm". Also determine if your eyepiece has an outer ring the eyepiece will slip over. You can find eyecups/guards on Ebay. Search under Binocular Eyecup or Binocular Eye Guard. There are also eyecups under "rubber eyecups/rubber eyeguards" but alot of these are for Microscopes and may not fit. You will need to pay close attention to the mounting type and measurements.
