Question about Logitech -9536890403 Mouse
My mouse cursor keeps on jumping.i cleaned the mouse thoroughly.but it didn't solve the problem.i have noticed that by keeping the connecting cable in certain positions the mouse starts working just fine.the connection between the mouse and the computer is not loose.i have the following doubts: -could the connecting cable be the reason for the jumping? -or is the drive to be blamed for it? can anyone suggest any useful measures?
I recommend StopMouseJumping to fix this problem. This software is able to tell apart normal mouse movements from jump-outs. Normal mouse movements are allowed, jump-outs are filtered out.

Elsamma, If you are positive keeping the cable stationary prevents the problem try this: Try holding the mouse connector stationary and wiggle the cable. If the problem occurs then the connection between the mouse connector/cable is defective, due to the low value of this mouse the fix would typically be replacing rather than repair. If that doesn?t work try wiggling the mouse connector where it plugs into the PC. If this causes the problem to reappear then either your mouse connector or the PC socket is damaged. Try another mouse and if the problem goes away, again the fix would be to replace the mouse. If a new mouse doesn?t fix the problem then there is a good chance the PS2 connector is damaged. At this point I would purchase a USB mouse which should solve your problem Let us know how things go and if you need any more assistance.
