First, please contact your telecom operator to open relevant businesses, which usually includesCall waitinand Three-way calling.(The name maybe different due to different operator)
After opening relevant businesses, please refer to the following supposed situations to make the settings:
Suppose that, Party A, Party B and Party C need to talk to each other, A is the talk originator, B and C are waiting for the calling.
1. A calls B
A presses Menu key on talking interface to open talk menu, clickAdd talk, then another dialing interface of mobile phone appears, A can make a call to C on this dialing interface.
3. When A is calling C, B just needs to wait.
4. A talks with C, then A can open the talk interface again and clickCombine talking. Then A,B,C can make the three-way call.

Why is caller id not working on phone after switching to AT&T uverse internet and phone?

Do they offer caller ID with that type of service? If so they should be able to fix that for you. You are now VOIP and not real sure how caller ID works behind that. There is a data burst sent after 1 ring on regular telephone service..

How do I connect caller ID

First, I'd need to know what switch you have your phone connected to and if the version supports Caller ID. Also, your telephone service must provide Caller ID to your switch (phone cabinet).

No caller ID. TP company says I have service.

 • Did you fully charge your phone? - Make sure you fully charge for 16-24 hours .

 • Is the battery old? - Replace the battery.

 • Is the electrical outlet switch turned on? - If you are using AC (electrical) power, make sure that the unit is connected to a non-switched electrical outlet.

 • Are the connecting wires tight - Unplug the AC power converter from the unit and plug it back in.

 • Do you have Caller ID service with your telephone company - In order to receive Caller ID records, you must subscribe to the standard name and number Caller ID service available through your local telephone company. If the Caller ID works for normal calls but not on Call waiting calls, then you must contact your phone company to get the combined CID/CW service.

 • Caller ID shows up after second ring - Be sure to wait until the second ring before answering. Caller ID signals comes through after the first ring, if caller pick ups phone too soon Caller ID signal will not be transmitted to the handset.

 • Confirm that caller ID is still working on that particular line by checking another phone on the same line - If Caller ID is not coming through contact your phone company provider.

If this does not fix your problem, contact your authorized Service Center.*

A resident in our skilled nursing facility has a Jitterbug phone. She told me she does not know what to do when she is talking on the phone and a "call waiting" signal indicates another call is coming in....

Hi,
When she sees/hears the "call waiting" signal, she can press the "yes" button to switch to the caller who's waiting (this also puts the first caller on hold).
Then, if she wants to switch back, she should just press the "yes" button again.
If she wants to end the call with whomever she's *currently* talking to, just press the "no" button.

Also, you can go here to download a free guide to using the Jitterbug (in PDF format): www.jitterbug.com/phones/pdfs/HowToGuide.pdf

Hope this helps!

Let me know if you have any other questions,

Handset problem

It sounds like you have a defective handset cord or handset. First, at your phone, switch your handset with another phones handset that you know for sure works. From your phone make a test call. If the caller can now hear you, the original handset from your phone is defective. If the caller still can not hear you, switch your handset cord with another handset cord from another phone that you know works. From your phone make another test call. If the caller can hear you, then your original handset cord is defective. You can purchase another handset cord from your local office supply store. Your phone uses a standard handset cord. It may be difficult to match the original color of your handset cord. Be sure to take your defective handset cord with you, so you can try to match the color. If the caller still does not hear you. Put your original handset and original handset cord back on your phone. Then plug your phone in to another wall jack, that you know works with another phone. The other phone needs to be an identical phone to yours (same number of buttons and same model number. The model number can be found under the phone). Wait approximately 90 seconds, sometimes longer, after you plug your phone into the other wall jack. Now, make another test call from your phone. If the caller can now hear you from your phone with it plugged into another working jack, then you have a defective station port or jack where your phone was originally plugged in at. If the caller still can not hear then you have a defective phone.

No caller ID displayed

If you have digital telephone with cable. First thing you should do is contact the billing department of your service provider. Make sure you are in billing for caller id. If you are let them know you are not receiving service you are paying for. Have them check your number in the switch. Which is the system that allocates each call that is made to and from your number. If this feature is not activated properly in the switch you might be paying for a service that is not properly activated. If all is correct with service provider. Try using another phone that has the caller id feature just to make sure it's not the actual phone. If both phones still doesn't display caller id. You should have your service provider send out a technician to troubleshoot your home telephone lines to make sure all phone jacks and telephone lines are secure and corrosion free, and have them verify service while there. You should also ask about a credit for the time the service was activated until the time the service actually worked.
