Question about iRiver iFP-795 MP3 Player

Open Question

Won't power on

After pressing the ON button many times, it sometimes turns on. Opened and put cleaning fluid in the switch - no success. New battery, so power is not a problem.

My power button is not working my phone was switched off could you pls help me to switch on my phone. power button is not at all working my battery is full and it was switched off.

Sometimes plugging in the phone (into the charger) allows the phone to boot. Maybe your battery is simply empty? Charging the phone is a good idea regardless.

Also, try booting to safe mode to test the power button:

  1. Turn "OFF" the Galaxy S6
  2. Press and hold the Power/Lock button at the same time until you see the "Galaxy S6? logo
  3. When the logo shows up, immediately hold the Volume Down button, while releasing the Power button
  4. Keep holding the Volume Down until your phone finishes rebooting
  5. If it was loaded successful, a "Safe Mode" will show on the bottom left corner of the screen
  6. Let go of the Volume Down button
  7. To exit "Safe Mode" press thePower/Lockkey and then touchRestart

But, I did not realize I had to program my existing remote at the same time. Since, I have retried programming both remotes many times with no success--the new one works, but the old one won't. The instructions were: 1) Locate switch under dash, behind fuse box; 2) Turn ignition switch on, but don't start engine; 3) Wait 5 seconds, set memory switch to SET position; 4) Press remote LOCK button; press second remote transmitter LOCK button; 5) Set memory switch to OFF; 6) Switch ignition OFF. 7) Confirm programming by locking and unlocking vehicle.

Nikon S6500 will not turn on

Could be the camera, but always first check the contacts from the battery and in the camera. Just to be sure nothing can block a free current. The contacts should be clean and shiny. Not a spec of dust is allowed in the battery holder. If you should need to clean the contacts, only use a dry cloth. Never use a sharp tool in or close to a camera. Then make sure you put in the battery the correct way. I don't know how strong you are, but sometimes people manage to put the battery in the wrong way around. Make sure the battery-camber / Memory card slot cover is closed correct. There is a little switch that indicates if the door is open or closed.
Almost impossible two batteries are dead at the same time. Unless you left them lying for a long time.
When you think everything must be right, just press the power switch several times in a row.
If nothing helps, I guess contact to a Nikon service station, or a new camera?

Kodak camera problem iI have a camera Kodak M320 9.2 mp , it have a problem when i press the power button it turned on an then turned off at the same time, i test another battery and it is still the same...

Not likely two batteries are bad at the same time (it could, but...)
Check the contacts of the batteries and also in the camera, if they are clean and shiny. ALso check is nothing is in the camera, that could prevent the battery to make a good contact in the camera. Sometimes just a little spec of dust can be the one who is causing lots of problems. If you want to clean contacts, never use sharp tools. Just a dry cloth and only when corrosion is on the contacts, very little contact fluid for electronic contacts. Don't forget to make the contacts dry and clean after you used contact fluid (Spray)

Wireless LAN button won't switch off.

Most Netgear routers have a recessed button on the back or bottom panel, marked "Reset" or "Restore Factory Settings". Because the button is recessed, you will require a thin tool to press it. Most people use a straightened paperclip.
  1. Power up the router, and wait for it to complete booting up, typically about one minute.
  2. Press the Reset or Restore Factory Settings button until the test or power led starts blinking. This takes about 20 seconds. Release the button.
  3. Wait for the router to reboot.
  4. Log in with the default password. If the reset was not successful, try these additional steps AFTER the router has finished rebooting.
  5. Unplug the router's power.
  6. Press and hold the Reset button. While the button is held down, reconnect router's power.
  7. Continue to hold the reset button for 20 seconds after reconnecting the power.
  8. Wait for the router to reboot.
  9. Log in with the default password.

I have a Nespresso Lattisima and all four lights are blinking four times in quick succession and nothing is working. I've tried emptying it out and it's done that, but still the same problem.

Your machine has almost certainly entered the water quality mode. (Water hardness setting). This is very easy to fix. Switch machine off. Before switching back on press and hold any off the following buttons: Latte Macchaito (top right) for soft water, Cappuccino (bottom right) for medium water or finally both of them for hard water. While holding the correct buttons switch the machine back on BUT hold for approx. 10 seconds or until all lights stop flashing, (APART FROM THE BUTTON YOUR HOLDING). This will reset the machine and you're good to go. Regards Coffee Engineer!

Jenn air. Quiet seriesii won't start. Lights on panel flashing. Tried turning off power for fifteen minutes at breaker.

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Thermal Fuse If the dishwasher won't start the thermal fuse might have blown. The thermal fuse helps to prevent damage to the dishwasher by turning off power so that it doesn't overheat. Once blown, the thermal fuse will have to be replaced for the dishwasher to work.

Door Switch The door switch, or switches, are sometimes called interlock switches. The door switch prevents the dishwasher from running while the door is open. If the dishwasher won't start, the switch or switches might be defective. To access the door switches, remove the control panel or inside door panel - depending on the model. They can be tested for continuity.

Main Control Board The main control board provides power to nearly every component of the dishwasher. If the dishwasher won't start the main control board might be defective. YOU should first check for more common parts. Many times control boards are replaced unnecessarily because the problem was not diagnosed properly.

Touchpad and Control Panel If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced. On some models the touchpad and control panel are sold together and will need to be replaced at the same time.

Touchpad If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced.

Timer The timer allows power to flow to the proper parts at the proper times. If the dishwasher won't start, the timer might be defective. Keep in mind that timers are often misdiagnosed as the cause of a problem. Check other components first before replacing the timer.

do the following steps: God bless you
To start test program, press and hold both POWER SCRUB PLUS and RINSE & HOLD program buttons, then turn unit on by pressing ON/OFF button. When program buttons are released, lights above them will flash. To end test program, press ON/OFF button. To check program indicator lights (POWER SCRUB PLUS, REGULAR WASH and RINSE & HOLD), press and hold each program button. When REGULAR WASH program button is pressed, CLEAN light also comes on.
To start testing, press both POWER SCRUB PLUS and RINSE & HOLD buttons a second time. When testing has ended and a fault was detected, the following indicator lights will be lit:
POWER SCRUB PLUS = Heater fault
REGULAR WASH = Water filling fault (over or under filling)
RINSE & HOLD = NTC (temperature sensor) fault ? note circulation motor stops shortly after it started during an NTC fault
To check for heater, high limit or flow switch problems, start testing until heating starts. Using a meter with a current coil, measure current going into dishwasher. If current is ~ 11 A, then heater, high limit and flow switch are OK. If current stays at ~ 1.5-2 A, then heater, high limit or flow switch are faulty.
If water level switch (f1) has failed (opened), REGULAR WASH light will come on and unit will continually fill and drain where testing won't be completed. If flow switch (e5) has failed (opened), water won't heat (to 150?F) and water won?t stop circulating. If NTC probe (f2/f4) has failed (opened), RINSE & HOLD light will come on immediately and testing will end shortly after water has started circulating.
If more than one fault occurs, more than one light will be lit.
