I am from india. i bought the samsung innov8 i8510 a month back but soon to my shock i discovered that dust is accumulating beneath the screen of handset though i never took out in dust. my problem is that this is my second samsung innov8, the first one i got around three months back which also faced the same problem but when i took it to the service centre they told my probably the dust accumulated becoz of the way iam using the handset. so believing that i traded a new samsung innvo8 a month back thinking everthing will be fine with this one but to great disappointment after spending a fortune i am still facing the same problem. kindly help me if u can.

Using a small pocket knife blade or some other thin edged tool, start at one of the bottom sides, near the screen cover's hinge, and carefully pry off the cover, loosening as you go. The glue that holds the screen cover on is a tacky substance and will re-stick after you've cleaned the screen. Slowly and carefully slide the knife along the edge of the flexible plastic, and lift it up as it pulls free of the adhesive. You can leave the bottom of the screen attached while you wipe with a very soft cleaning cloth or compressed air. Remove the dust off of the screen and then simply press the screen cover back down and run your thumbs around the edges to reseal it. That's all it takes, and you don't need to buy any fancy tools.

I have the same exact problem. ATT won't do anything about it. It seems to be a defect in the phone.
I had the same problem! I've submitted my phone to the Service Center and they got it cleaned for me. Unfortunately, the dust will still go under the screen again after some time. Now I'm having another problem, the gallery keeps looping loading. Darn!

i have had my i850 since christmas and has been getting under the screen, is this a problum with all i850's
I have my Innov I8510 since October 2008 and I've let the repair center remove dust for me 4 times already! The last time the said the did something so the dust problem should not return. Well, I did return and now I have the same old dust under my screen again. I'm really upset!
I would have opened the phone myself only it would cause my warranty to expire...
