Kenmore ice maker wont dispense ice. Makes ice OK but wont dispen

look on back of unit and on some inside door as to ice is the lock off

HI,IF THE ICE MAKER IS LEAKING WATER HAVE TO BE REPLACE IF YOU CAN REPLACED ICE MAKER AND THE SELENOIDE WATER VALVE TO REPAIR PROBLEMS..

Pour about 1/2 cup of water into ice maker . If it dumps , replace the water valve . If doesn't dump , replace the ice maker . Also make sure the coils are clean of dust , lint , etc...

Your refrigerator has a defrost timer and could be stuck in defrost. Go into the fresh food compartment and were the controls are should be small hole to stick a pencil eraser in. Turn clockwise slowly until starts, if not we need to do something different. Sea Breeze

Found out we still had a warranty/service contract on it. Contacted SEARs and I explained problem to technician. Scheduled house call is Friday.

make sure you push the ice lever back down

outside moister cause making frost, probably you can not do it youself,if you know , do it.
