Question about Philips 37FD9954 37 in. HD-Ready Plasma Television
When i try to turn on my tv, the green light will come on for about 10 seconds, (no picture or sound) then will flash red until i turn off the set. When i try again the same thing happens. i took the back off of the tv and it was a little dusty but not too bad, i blew off the dust but that didnt help.
You will need to take the TV in for repair. The red light is the TV's way of telling you the protection circuitry has been tripped. There is most likely a problem with the power supply inside the TV.

I'm sorry, I don't have a solution, but I seem to be having a similar problem. When I turn my TV on, the green light comes on like it's powered up, but then the TV turns itself back off and the red LED light flashes. I can't do anything to turn it on or anything.
