Generally Handheld extinguisher's weigh is from 0.5 to 14 kilograms (1.1 to 30.9 lb), and are hence, easily portable by hand. Recently I sold my all damaged extinguisher to Halon.us.At that time he weighted it & said it is 4 kg less & some of them is leakage. But Thanks to halon.us he bought all extinguishers & gave all payment at that time.

How do I replace a recalled Kidde fire extinguisher?

Hello, Peter -

Go to this web page:
http://www.kidde.com/home-safety/en/us/support/product-alerts/recall-kidde-fire-extinguisher/

Assuming your fire extinguisher is included in those affected by the recall, then click or tap on the red Affected button on the bottom of the page.

After that, follow the on-screen instructions. The return and replacement process will vary depending upon whether you reside in the USA or Canada.

Best wishes.

Hi there. I have just moved in to a flat & have been asked if my stoves 050531075 gas oven is fitted with something called a FSD (Fire Suppresion Device) Would you be able to tell me please?

The are probably referring to an automatic fire extinguisher system, but from what I just read, the UK only requires a manual fire extinguisher to meet code.

The FSD would be fire extinguishers mounted on the wall instead of portable. They are only required in commercial restruarants.
