I may need to know your model # from the sticker inside the fridge to view a diagram but usually there is are small set screws (usually 2) on the handle which are allen head that can be tightened. Look for this first and let me know if there are no set screws. If this is your setup then I would appreciate a solved rating.

The water dispenser and ice maker side run separate sides of the water control valve. Fill ice maker with tap water and let it freeze. If it dumps the ice then does not refill then the water control valve is the problem. I will be back soon with a photo and some links, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Turn off the water supply and check for cracked or broken water tubing/line. Make certain that there is teflon (white) tape on threads connecting water inlet hose from shut off valve at wall to water valve at refrigerator. If there is no apparent damage to tubing or hose, then your problem may be with a water valve solenoid that is not seating/closing tightly. Replace the water valve assembly, if necessary.
Note: If plastic tubing is damaged, etc., you can splice the tubing with a "coupler" and/or more tubing purchased from Home Depot or Lowe's.

Check the little damper door next the water filter at top inside the unit. You will have to remove the covers to get it. The little plastic ends will break off and then you can not control the temperture it act like a freezer. Hope this helps Also you can get this part online.
