Question about IBM ThinkPad A21m 2628 Notebook
CAN NOT GET TO WINDOWS "START-UP,locked by previous adminstrator
Try going into safe mode. Shut your computer off completely and then turn it back on, when you do start tapping f8 and then choose safe mode with networking. Once your system comes back up see if you can get into any user account. If you can press the start button and click the picture at the top beside your name to enter the user accounts screen, then press the home button, and click on the administrator. from here you can have the option to remove the passwords. If you cant get into any accounts in safe mode you will sadly have to do a recovery, which entails reinstalling windows.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Jan 30, 2013 | Computers & Internet
Start, click Run, and type regedit to open the Windows registry editor.
In the registry, open the below folders.
Within the keyboard folder, you should have a string value named "InitialKeyboardIndicators" with a value of 0, 1, or 2. Below is the explanation of each of these values.
0 = Num Lock is turned OFF after the logon.
1 = Disable Num Lock.
2 = Numlock is turned ON after the logon.
hope this helps
