Question about Intertherm P3RA-060K Air Conditioner
My husband tried to put in a new digital thermostat but it turned out to be not compatible now we are trying to put the old one on and it doesn't now seem to work i think it is wiring could some one help
Thanks for your Question,
A question or two for you, when your husband was hooking up the new stat, could he have inadvertently touched the low voltage wires together ? if so have you checked the circuit board at the furnace to see if the fuse is blown ? The fuse looks like a automotive fuse on the board, look carefully sometimes its a little hard to find it, take the fuse out and look at it, you can tell if its burned out, I would almost be certain that this is where your problem is at, replace the fuse with another 3amp fuse, make sure the power is off before doing this, and with the power off hook in your new t-stat, bet it will work for ya ! Or hook back up the old one, in any case you seem to have a power issue, hope this was of help, thanks again for your question,
