I purchased a new cordless uniden WX12077 Series. I charged the phone for 25 hours and now connected it to the phone line. I am getting a message "Welcome, please wait" and the phone won't ring nor can I get a dial tone.

Uniden cordless phone not working


Yr battery is probably Shot. With these type of batteries they can fall over if they go below 25% charge for a length of time. The charger is not charging even though it says it is. If the phone is not to old then get a new battery and try again. cheers

I just got a uniden cordless phone and it has no dial tone


Allow it to charge for at least 2 hours. If after 2 hours you have no dial tone Unplug your Phone and plug in a regular un-powered phone. If you get DT your phone is out of box defective, and you will need a new one. If it does not have dial tone then there is a problem on your phone line and you need to contact your phone company. Note, the phone company will charge you for repairs inside your house.

You're going to need to replace the battery. Make sure that you charge your new battery for at least 24 hours before you use the phone. If you have no local source to purchase a new battery from, you might try eBay.

firstly, try to use another charger, if the problem continue, you can replace the battery of the phone and if this still continue replace the charging port with a good one .

I charged my three brand new GE model 25922 for 24 hours, placed each handset in the main base to satisfy the "PLEASE REGISTER" message and the message remains. The only instruction in the manual as well as on the 800 448-0329 # is to place each handset in the base unit for 20 seconds.

I had the same problem!

What you need to do is hold the "end" and "#" key for 5 sec, which will deregister the headset then all you would have to do is place it back in the base for it to registered again.
