Question about HP Compaq nx6110 PC Laptop
The power cord on my compaq nx6110 won't stay connected in the jack. i either have to push it in tight and hold it there for it to charge or pull it to the side a little. Is this most likely an issue with the cord or with the jack on my computer?
the very first thing what u need to check is the condidtion of the power cord of the lpatop which is connecting to the laptop and as u said that it is not connecting properly and u have to push it in..what u can try is that u can try is if someone is having the same laptop try with the another power cord and still if it does the same thing that means u have to replace the motherboard of the laptop and if it doesnt happen then definately u need to change the power cord....

Tips for a great answer:

Check your DC Power Jack which is where the power cord plugs
into the compute. Take an ink pen and push the tip inside the
jack and see if the little pin wiggles, if so the jack is bad. You'll have to
take the laptop apart to fix it. Most times it is soldered onto the
motherboard, so you will have to desolder the old and solder a new one.
