Interesting and thankful but its the original driver that came with adapter. what are you suggestions? I reformatted computer w/a company because it was doing it before and still doing it now. At store it works w/adapter her at home it still does same thing. Turns off and reboots once you plug in adapter via UBS cord?

You may be using the wrong driver for the wireless adapter youre using. pls check or update the driver for your wireless adapter. it is niormal for the computer to reboot after initial installation of the drivers but with your case, you may be using the wrong drivers because the computer reboots whenever you plug it in.

Plugging device into USB makes computer restart

I had just scrubbed the hard drive and reloaded the operating system and I could not install the linksys because the machind rebooted everytime I plugged in the usb connection. I noticed a box coming up that was trying to dial up an internet connection. I went into the windows internet setup and checked the box that say "never dial a connection". This seems to have fixed the problem.

No connections with my wireless on asus g72

It is a hardware problem. The switch on the Asus G72GX is at fault. I own the same machine, and the switch will hard-lock the wifi and will not unlock it. The hot-key will not work either. It took me a very long time to get to the root of the problem. The only solution appears to be to switch the wifi off, power down (restarting didn't work for me), turn the switch on and then power up.
