Question about Dell Inspiron E1705 Notebook
My power adapter burnt up about a month and a half ago i sent for an after market on and i have burnt up three since then it is a inspiron e1705 with a 10 series adapter please help
Does the after market adapters have the same voltage and at least the same amp. rating (can be more) as the original Dell adapter?
If they have less amps then it would explain why they are burning out because they are overloaded.
If the adapters are equivalent or better than the original DELL adapter then there is something wrong with the laptop which is causing it to draw more power (amps) than normal and it needs to be checked out.
