Question about Omron HEM 650 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor

2 Answers

Does not inflate, even after NEW batteries and reset of data.

I went through the setting of date and time successfully. Then tried to find my blood pressure data. The OMRON HEM-650 unit lights up the full screen on start. However, the screen is all out except for irregular heartbeat signal, and I can hear the beep - beep, which continues but the unit does not inflate. Nothing else happens, even after a 2 5 minute wait period. I finally stop the unit.
Can you please tell me what I might do to get the proper response from the unit?

I repeated the entire procedure, which I initially reported.

The results are exactly the same.

Is there something further I should be doing?

I have the same problem where everything is set correctly, but I get an E with a 0 and the little heart, but no reading.

This is stupid, if you can throw off the cuff setting, it should be able to be reset, don't you think?

Hi!. I am Dennis from Mexico.
I have the blood pressure monitor HEM-608, and do not inflate, only appears a small heart and when I push the start button, appear E letter and the down arrow.

Its seems like when you were doing the settings for your monitor you didnt take it back to the start position so you need to read the instructions from your papers and go back to the begining and restart all over with the settings, it seems like you have knocked off the settings somewhere which also controls the inflation of the cuff and the cuff will not inflate while the settings are not set right so restart from your instructions and see if this will help you. good luck!

Why does my blood pressure not inflate even after new batteries

It sounds like you might have a leak some where. Check the hoses very carefully for any damage. It would be helpful to submerge the hose in some water to find an air leak, but be careful not to get the unit wet. You will want to start it and check for air bubbles in the water. Good luck.

either the compressor unit seals are damaged or you have a hole in the inflatable section either way it is not an easy fix and as they have come down in price dramatically over the past year i would suggest buying a new model & chucking this one away

I can't figure out how to set the time and date on the HEM7300REL blood pressure monitor. I have a manual and have followed the instructions without results. I don't see a reset hold on the machine. do...

If you remove and replace your will not lose the memory. The unit will store up to 90 measurements in non-volatile it will stay there.

I have the same unit and use these directions....and never had issues with setting the date and time.

Setting the Date and Time
Your blood pressure monitor automatically stores up to 90
measurements values with the date and time. To make use of the
memory and average values functions:
• Set the unit to the correct date and time before taking a measurement
for the first time.
• If the batteries have been removed for more than 30 seconds, the
Date/Time setting will need to be set.
1. Press and hold the Date/time

date and time. The year digits

2. Press the Memory button ( ) to

I have a e system desktop the clock keeps running late

Computers have an internal battery on the motherboard that helpd the board retain certain data when the computer is off. If the battery is low or dead it will cause this problem. The easiest way to replace the battery is to open the side of the computer when it is off and remove the battery from the battery holder on the motherboard. The battery looks just like a watch battery. Replace it with the same kind of battery (available at most drug stores) once you have replaced it turn on your computer and reset your clock.
