Question about Honeywell Electronic Programmable Heat/Cool Thermostat - CT3300A100 Heater
I have an old white rodgers thermostat and putting in a programable RTH7000 series from Honeywell. My old one has A wire and new one does not. Where would that go or is it not needed on the new thermostat?
Your old thermostat is a milivolt and the wire runs from the heater to the thermostat. You have to open the back of the new one and connect the wire as per the instructions on the wireing diagram that came with the new one. I just installed a similar one myself, you will be very happy with it.
