Try going into safe mode and "Restore" to an earlier date , before the problem started.

I have a toshiba satellite m200 and for some reason it has put a supervisor bios password on it , i cant get into the bios system to change boot up order or into anything i have very sentimental pics

"It" did not put a BIOS password on the device, but apparently someONE did. It can be difficult to clear BIOS information on laptops, as they are not as easily accessible as desktops. If you cannot find someone who can clear the BIOS password, you could remove the hard drive from the laptop and have someone with a desktop computer attach it to their machine temporarily as a second hard drive. Then you would be able to gain access to you files and photos that you cherish with minimal risk of loss.

Toshiba Tecra M1 what are hdd format procedure?

Formatting a laptop is the same as doing it on a desktop computer.
If you are using the Windows installation CD then to get the laptop to boot up with the Windows CD you can change the BIOS boot startup device and make the CD the first boot device.

Black screen requesting password when I tiurn on toshiba satellite pro c665

There are viruses that attack the boot sector and make changes to the BIOS in such a way that makes the System not to boot. The best way to work around this problem is to remove the Hard drive and connect it to a desktop motherboard as a slave. If you dont know how to do this, get a Computer technician to help you out. When you login with the desktop, gain access to your hard drive

I forgot my log in password. It's a toshiba laptop.

You can remove or change the Window's User oradministrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access todownload the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot upthe laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CDwhich contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removalprogram. Formatting toshiba laptop

Some manufacturers provide a recovery partition that you can boot from. You can try pressing F8, F11 or F12 repeatedly on startup to attempt to access this. If not, you will need to use your recovery DVDs. If you do not have these, you will either need to create them if you can still access your laptop's operating system, or you can order them from Toshiba.

Toshiba Satellite P300 Laptop will not boot up? Running Windows Home Premium 64bit. Have made Recovery discs. I can access the bios and all looks good. HDD is recognized. I took the drive out and put into...

Before you try reformat etc.
Press F8 key as you boot up then select Last Known Good Configuration, if that doesn't work then try Safe Mode. Once you get into Windows go to Restore and select the Restore Point date prior to the installation of that software. Hopefully this will get your laptop back to where it was prior to the installation of capture sofware.
