When trying to set up mikomi webcam a message popped up saying it was not compatable. My son bought this for me and was told it would work on my laptop. The instuction booklet also tells me it is compatable. I have got as far as seeing myself on there but am not technical enigh to go further.
My grandson lives in Ireland & I dearly want to see more of him & get him to see me,so he knows who I am .

You may need to get a webcam that is compatible to your computer. Contact the maker of the webcam you purchased to find out what is wrong with the webcam.

There is only one driver listed in the link provided below and it does not offer any details as to which operating systems it is compatible with. This link is from the manufacturers website. If the package says that it is not compatible, then you will probably not find a driver that will work with vista. Try downloading the driver for M6219Z/MZ. This would be the next model in that series, and may be compatible with vista, however, once again the website offers no details on which operating systems it is compatible with. The newer webcams that are featured on their website are all compatible with vista.
There are known problems with mikomi Webcams and Windows Vista , and currently all mikomi webcam drivers are NOT Vista compatible , you will either have to buy a new webcam or wait till the Drivers are developed
I bought a HP Media Center PC and tried to install my SPC700NC. I received all your error messages and more. I found the driver by accident installed it and have used Skype and Yahoo Messenger all is well and I'm happy. Download a Vista driver (File saved is called spc700nc_37_drw_eng) with this link (copy and paste):
