How do i turn the commentary for the blind off my sony bravia tv

something like Menu - Setup - Disability settings.

I also found two items specific to Sony Bravia
Audio Description (AD) is not part of the subtitle set up. The current Manual includes it in Audio Set-up as a distinct sub-heading "Audio Description".
My Bravia is 3 years old and must have had an update recently which allowed it to make use of AD which is slowly becoming available to a lot of programmes. Unfortunately the update did not update the Tools function so I have the ability to take the AD facility but not the ability to switch it off.
Are you able to turn off Audio Description via..
Go to the Home menu..
Then browse to Settings..
Followed by Digital Set-up..
Then Subtitle Set-up..
Finally Subtitle Setting.?

and If you have Freesat:

Press the Menu button on your remote control.

Select Settings using the up/down arrow button and press OK.

Select Language using the up/down arrow button and press OK.

Select Audio Description and then Enable or Disable using the OK or left/right arrow button.

And specific t o

Need code for my oneforall URC-7140 for my Echostar HDS-600RS

If none of these work 0853 0396 0713 1323 1409 1413 try this,

The Search Method allows you to find the code for your device by scanning through all the
codes contained in the memory of the ONE FOR ALL. The Search Method may also work if
your brand is not listed at all.
Example: To search for your TV code: Switch on television (not on standby) and aim
your ONE FOR ALL at your TV.
1. Press and hold MAGIC for 3 seconds until the blue LED (any LED) stays on.
2. Select the corresponding device e.g. TV
3. Press 9 9 1. The blue LED will blink twice (showed by going out twice).
4. Next, press POWER.
5. Press CH+ (over and over) again until your device switches OFF.
6. As soon as your television turns off, press the magic key to store the code.
Congratulations! You should now be able to switch your device back ON and
control your device successfully.
In this example we will set Volume Control (VOL+, VOL- and Mute) to "TV
volume":
1. Press and hold MAGIC for 3 seconds until the blue LED (any LED) stays on.
2. Press 9 9 3. The blue LED will blink twice.
3. Select the corresponding device e.g. TV.
4. Press and hold the magic key for 3 sec. The blue LED will blink twice and then
Switch off.
Now you have set the Volume Control to "TV volume". The VOL+, VOL- and
Mute keys will always control "TV volume" independent which device mode
key (TV, SAT, DVD or AMP) is selected.
WWW.ONEFORALL.COM 9
OFF
SSAAT/CBL T/CBL
This feature gives you the possibility to
set the Volume (VOL+, VOL- and Mute)
to always control a certain device (e.g.
TV) independent of which device mode
(TV, SAT, DVD or AMP) is selected.
e.g.: Control your TV Volume in SAT
mode.
How to deactivate Volume Control
1) Press and hold MAGIC for 3 seconds until the blue LED stays on.
2) Press 9 9 3.
3) Press Vol +. The blue LED will blink 4 times.
All devices will send out their own VOL+, VOL- and MUTE.
How to remove a device from Volume Control
1) Press and hold MAGIC for 3 seconds until the blue LED stays on.
2) Press 9 9 3.
3) Select the device mode you wish to deactivate from Volume Control.
4) Press Vol -. The blue LED will blink 4 times.
The removed device will send out its own VOL+, VOL- and MUTE.
Search Method
Volume Control
You may have to press
these keys many times
(up to 150 times) so
please be patient.

AUDIO PROBLEMS/NO SOUND

Look first to see if sound when a DVD etc connected to a rear input has sound.

Look to see if in audio menu speakers are switched to ON or OFF.

If you are connected with a box, receiver etc via rear audio/video jacks--unplug those units and the set for a while and plug back to let each try to reboot.

No Sound

Could be a sound problem in the set but first:

Are speakers for some reason switched off in menu?

Is (some have this) internal/external speaker select set to external?

Is volume on SET OR A BOX muted or turned way down?

Does the set have sound with a DVD etc. hooked via a rear audio/video input?

Very low volume on phillips big screen tv

From the model number it is a older set (model listed here).

Simple things: if using a cable or sat box to it via rear jacks etc volume may be turned down on the box!

A few sets in menu have volume limiter--in main menu audio section

Also and last check to see if with a DVD etc hooked to one of the rear sets of jacks if same problem....rules the set in or out for this problem.

If none of this helps--audio circuit problem and shop repair.

I need the code for an echostar remote ir103602

How to Program a EchoStar Remote Control
Instructions

Step1
Ensure that the remote control has new batteries installed. If you are not sure or have been using the device for a while, go ahead and insert fresh batteries. You need four AAA batteries.
Step2
Locate the mode buttons on the controller. You will see SAT, AUX, TV, and VCR. SAT stands for the satellite receiver. Your remote is automatically set up to work with your EchoStar receiver, and you do not need to program it for this function. AUX may refer to a cable television device or an audio device that hooks it into your stereo system. TV refers to your television set. VCR may be chosen to control a standard VCR or a DVD player.
Step3
Press the mode button that corresponds with the device which you want to control with the EchoStar remote control. For example, if you want to program the remote to control the TV, press down the TV mode button.
Step4
Turn on the device. This is the item you want to control with the EchoStar remote. You may need to do so manually or with its own remote control. In this example, you would turn on your television set with its own control.
Step5
Press down the EchoStar mode button for the device again, but this time hold it down for three seconds. You are going to notice that all the other mode buttons are going to flash on. Aim the remote at the device you want to control.
Step6
Depress the EchoStar remote power button briefly and then slowly click either the up or the down arrow button. You are performing a code scan that allows the remote control to run through all the preprogrammed codes that are stored in its memory. Proceed slowly and do not hurry this process. It may take a few minutes, but it is virtually foolproof.
Step7
Stop when the appliance you want to control with the EchoStar remote control suddenly turns off. You have hit upon the correct code, and if you save it now, your remote will be able to use it in the future to control the functions of the item.
Step8
Store the code in the EchoStar remote control’s memory by pressing the pound button. You will notice that the corresponding mode button is going to flash, acknowledging the programming choice. You are now ready to control the item with the EchoStar remote control.
