Why will the doors go up on my garage door opener but not down using the remotes. It works fine using the keyboard.

It is your remote control that is not functioning when the down button is pressed. There is no easy way to test the remote but the small light on the remote should flicker we the button is pressed. If it does not flicker press down hard on the button a few times in effort to get the light to flicker as that will be indicating that transmission is taking place. Dust can prevent good contact with the switch inside the remote and by pressing hard on the button may re-establish contact again. It is however not fail prove as the light can flicker but is still not transmitting to the motor control box. The fact that the keyboard and up function is working indicates that the remote is malfunctioning and need to be replaced.

Have you recently done any work in the doors? It sounds like a short or connection issue with your door lock harness inside your door.

If the main light is flashing 10 times when the door reverses it is a door sensor problem. Make sure the sensors are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not flickering. Tweak them if necessary. If you cannot get both lights to come on you have bad sensors.

It sounds like your door sensors need to be aligned. Check to make sure they are pointed at one another and that the small light on each one is lit and not flickering.

Upper oven lights flicker

Sounds like it could be a bad connection on door switch, or a faulty switch.
Check that the bulb is screwed in properly, as this can give the same symptons.

You have a door sensor problem. Make sure the small light on each sensor is not flickering ever so slightly. Sometimes very hard to see. Tweak them just a bit. The color of the sensors is normal.

Myt 1/2 hp craftsmand door opener clicks and light

If the main light flashes 10 times when the door reverses it is a door sensor problem. Each sensor has a small light that needs to be lit and not flickering for them to work. They must be pointed at one another for the lights to be on. Tweak them a bit and see if the lights come on. If not you likely have a bad sensor.

The garage door does not stay down.Comes back up with lights flashing fast. The sensors are clear and the pressure has been set.

If when the door reverses the main lights flashes 10 times it is a door sensor problem. Nothing else will cause this. Make sure the light on each sensor is lit and not flickering ever so slightly. The flickering can sometimes be difficult to see.

Lights flickering

The Lights Flickering is most likely a defective Voltage regulator in the Alternator. Use a Volt meter to determine this.. I think its isolated from the door locks.. Im not good on door locks.. So not much help there.. But hope what lil bit I do know helped ya. thankx
