Question about Bissell 1699 ProHeat Clear View Upright Steam Vacuum

No WATER DISTRIBUTION

I have the Bissell Upright proheat shampoo machine. The water is not distributing, either from main distribution poiint and hand held estension

    bought and replaced new pump...still not working. And I have checked all the gaskets! Going nuts..

    everything comes on and it sucks up but i can't get the water to come out.

    The water will come out of the extension wand, but not the floor part.

Bissell steam cleaner will not spray shampoo


My Bissell stops releasing shampoo when the handle is lacked upright, when there is no water in the tank (the most common cause of this issue), or when water is not flowing through the machine because the sprayers are clogged.

Make sure the shampoo container grommet is releasing properly when you press the trigger. To check this, remove the shampoo tank from the Bissell, stand over a sink, and use a finger to push up inside the grommet on the shampoo container, the part of it that mates with the rest of the Bissell. Shampoo should dribble out when you do this. If it won't, the grommet may be clogged.

there is a belt inside that runs the pump to spray the water. I would take it in a have it replaced. Mine did the same exact thing.

How to use bissell carpet cleaner


On the 1698 modle thier is a large clean water tank and a smaller shampoo bottle which seats on the side of the machine.
the shampoo goes in the smaller bottle fo the two.
