These motors are generally always bushing type motors you will need to oil the mops or the felt witch holds the oil for the bearing (bushing) you can find a ELECTRIC MOTOR OILER FIXES FRIDGE,FREEZER FAN,, AIR CONDITIONER, BUSHING OIL on ebay that will make your fan happy again. you can try regular old oil but I have found over the years it\'s just not that good, but will get you by

remember to look for the pool pump motor repair puppy He\'s the sign of a bark\'n good deal.

Microwave makes noise when on

All microwaves make some noise when running. Cooling fans, exhaust fans, turntable motor, transformer, and magnetron all make noise. I assume you mean some unusual noise. I need to know more about what kind of noise it is - a loud roar, a rattling sound, a high-pitch squealing sound, a "clunk-clunk" sound or what? By the way, a "klunk-klunk" sound is frequently caused by small debris stuck to the wheels of the turntable support tray. Try cleaning those wheels and the track they roll in.

Maytag Legacy series dryer making loud noise. Sounds like something flapping.

A common problem on these dryers is the blower wheel itself will wobble out and make noises. Pop the top with a putty knife then remove the front panel. Check the blower housing for looseness.or something in it. I worked on a monkey wards dryer with a bad blower wheel and made crappy movie on my phone:

Loud exhaust noise on startup

2008 GMC Envoy is only equipped with one of two engines:
4.2L (254") 6-Cylinder SFI
5.3L (325") V-8 SFI

Niether of these engines are equipped with an EGR valve, so I guess the probability of that being the cause of your noise is pretty much zero to none.

If you believe the noise is being caused by the exhaust ststem, then the only way to verify that is to inspect the exhaust system. Leaks are easier to verify with the engine running.

With that said, there is also a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) that is published by GM that addresses customer complaints about loud noise that is being caused by the electro-viscous engine cooling fan clutch. Some people describe it as exhaust noise and others describe it as the engine "racing" or "roaring".(even though the tachometer (if equipped) will be reading normal)

It basicly says that it can make noise on startup due to high rpm of the fan which goes away once the electric solenoids open and allow the fan to start free-wheeling. GM says this is normal operation. You might want to check to be sure this is not what you are hearing. (it can be pretty loud)

Exhaust Fan makes noise

Check to make sure that nothing is obstructing the fan blade causing the noise, if not then the bearings in the fan motor are more than likely going out causing the metal on metal noise.

Our Goodman furnace just started making a a very loud grinding noise when the furnace turns on. Also the temperature in the house keeps dropping so we have to keep adjusting teh thermostat. Any advice on...

If it makes the noise before the blower comes on it would be the exhaust fan. If it makes the noise when the blower comes on then I would say either the blower motor or bearings to the fan.

A very noisy. What can I do? What can I do? NuTone Model QT11ONB

Sometimes the shaft on these fans gets very dry and will squeel when it is on, a little iol will help quiet the squeel. Sometimes the fan gets some dust build up and it will make a noise every revolution when the blades hit the build up., this shoiuld be cleaned.

It seems like it is the first time you either own or using a microwave oven. Yes, there are more than one fan/motors inside a microwave, depending upon the model/type.

Noise of microwave exhaust fan

You can remove the exhaust turbine unit with one screw and reinstall microwave and buy a braun external exhaust unit that fits over the hole where it is at the roof or wall and all of the noise will be outside and it will actually work. It is weather proof and will **** steam or fumes out like the best vacuum cleaner.
