Question about Samsung Washing Machines
Now my washer spins but does not get rid of the water. clothes are soaking wet when it indicates the cycle is complete.
If the machine is spinning as hard and fast as it should.... then I can only think that you have a problem with a plugged drain pipe.. (The one that the big hose in the back of the washer slips into.) If so, you'd need a plumber to help. Now, I'm assuming that you already know that if you end up having a severely unbalanced load, that it will kick out of the spin cycle prematurely, so that it won't shake itself to death... That would leave water in the machine.

If the washer cannot balance the load it will end after a period of trials but it will not be able to fully spin out all the water. It could be that the load is too much. try a smaller load. Also check your drain filter and clean it periodically. Be sure the washer is level and that it does not rock or move.

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
Rate me pl.....if helped.

The heavy jacket prevented the washer from spinning at a rapid pace, so I added a heavy bathrobe to absorb some of the water and to balance the load. The washer then spun very quickly and drained out all the water.

Tips for a great answer:
I appreciate your post, Rachel Kovach!
From my understanding your Frigidaire frontload washer is not spinning the final spinning and the clothes are still wet. If you washer is overloaded it will not spin properly to release the water out of the clothes. Also, a small load will cause your washer to not spin properly. You should additionally check the drain hose to make sure it not kinked or twisted that could cause your improper draining. If all that checks properly it could be an issue with your drain pump, motor, and control panel. I would suggest consulting with a technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help avoid unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
