SOURCE: After replacing batteries on Proform PF800 console stays lit

Pull the batteries out let it reset itself while its doing that check all cable to make the connection are seated firmly then reinstall the batteries, unless the function pad is sending a phantom signal engaging the display to be on continuously,or by pure chance the upper electronics went hay wire

SOURCE: proform treadmill zt 5 runs but display is dead

If what you say is that all functions are working (start, speed up , down and incline up,down) then the upper console lighting may have loose wire harness( check first) bad soldier connection or the components that generate the images on the LCD are defective. If you have good connections on the wire harness then you may need to replace the upper console.

The remote control is no longer working - how do you change batteries?

Remove the back cover from the remote, note how the current batteries are oriented, carefully remove the batteries and check the terminals for corrosion. Corrosion can easily be removed with a small piece of tin foil or the blade of a knife. Once the terminals are clean and the batteries are out, replace with batteries of the same type. Close the back cover and test the remote.

Turn AAA batteries into AA batteries in emergancy

all you need to do is roll up some tin foil into a flat circular shape the size of the battery that you need, circomfrence, not the actual size of the battery, put it against the spring on what ever gadget you need the batteries 4,then push the little AAA battery on the tin foil so it fits tight into the slot where the AA bigger battery should be and WALLA, sorted.your gadget should now work, and its the same principle with all batterys.

It didnot start ,you hear it warm up but there is no light or dose not work

The problem is with the formatter board, it is a cold solder joint/connection. What you need to do is remove said board, unsolder the battery that is on the hold on for this one, you have to put in in your oven @ 380 degrees for about 8 - 10 minutes face down on a cookie sheet on a piece of tin foil. Believe it or not it worked for me and i have also fixed several HP LJ2015's the same way. Good luck

My Xbox froze then it displayed three red ring around the green power indicator.

ur EX-box to be could be really broken or an easy fix try turning on ur xbox with two q-tips in the holes were the fan is and stopp both fans untill u overheat ur xbox till the three lights turn to 2 light on the left had side the wait 1 min if that the unplugg and let it cool down to room temp the boot it bak up

if that dont work try opening ur xbox and take off the two metal heatsinks inside and use some isophyrol (bad spellin ) clean all that gunk off untill its like a mirror then buy some artic silver thermal paste stuff and put a grain of rice sive squirt on it and spead it over the mirror parts of chips under heatsink put it all back together try again boot it still.... nothing...try removing xclamp and replacing them with bolts

okay try this try takin every single thing off the board dvd , fans, heatsinks ,hardrive just so ur left with ur board now go preheat oven to 230 uk 475 usa and now get some tin foil and cover all the capacitators with the tin foil ther the black lookin battery things and cover any plastic parts aswell now put on bakin tray FLAT and cook for 10 mins this is in my opinion lat hope

My remote doesn't seem to be working to my Naxa TV. I have put in new batteries. The TV comes on with the "green" light in front. But when I click remote "pOWER" nothing happens ??? Thanks

If you replaced the batteries and can turn on the TV manually, then the button is probably not making proper contact with the remote. Try opening up the remote and placing a small piece of tin foil where the power button is, close the remote up and it should work.

My xbox360 (wireless) controller keeps turning off if a lil shake is applied to it. (brand new batteries in it) it just keeps turning off and its not just one, it both of mines!

Take the battery pack off, there are two coiled springs that touch the batteries.
Stretch these springs up slightly, but not too much.
Then replace the battery pack.

Yes, we were a couple of dummys when we received our brand new LG stove, with convection oven, glass top and very fancy, and we put tin foil to cover the bottom of the stove and of course yesterday when I...

I really don't know what to tell you. During the clean cycyle the metal probably melted and is permantly sealed to the bottom. You are lucky the oven still works. Sometimes using foil will destroy sensors or other things. NEVER use foil in ANY oven!!!!! The only exception is to partially cover the shelf underneath something you know is going to make a mess. Even then don't cover more than about 60% of the rack.(Never do this in a convection oven as the fan will blow the foil ) Also NEVER!!! allow foil to come in contact with a hot burner. It will melt to the smooth top or coil.

Melted Tin Foil in bottom of oven

Unfortunately, it's too late. The tin foil has melted into the panel and can't be removed. The melted foil will not affect oven operation. You should never place anything on the bottom of a stove that has a hidden element. You will damage the panel. The only option you have is to replace the panel (if replaceable) or the entire oven liner...
