Problem for D-Link DWL-G700AP 802.11g/b Wireless Access Point
Unable to update firmware
None of the dowloaded Versios for my DWL-G700AP work.
Current Firmware Version is 2.13
Tried 2.13B6, 2.20, 2.30b2
Nothing, always the same when clicking Apply:
"File is Worng !!"
Any Ideas?

- 1) Yes, i am in Germany and so use the german / european versions.The newest versions are on ftp.dlink.co.uk
2) of course did i unzip the file before trying to upload
3) of course i was connected by wire
Sorry, but i am no dummy regarding this, so please no solutions for dummies ;)

Your router latest Firmware I can see on D-link website is 1.02
If you are referring to German web site page showing a dwl-g700ap_fw_revB_v213b06.zip file be sure to follow the instruction to UNZIP the web_dwlg700ap_v200_r11_0408.bin file:
DWL-G700ap Firmware Update
- Browser starten
- Konfiguration des DWL-700ap aufrufen (Standard IP 192.168.0.50)
- oben auf Tools
- links auf Firmware
- auf den Knopf Durchsuchen klicken
- die Firmware Datei (web_dwlg700ap_v200_r11_0408.bin) auswählen
- auf Apply klicken
Wenn die Firmware installiert und der DWL-700ap dann neu gestartet ist klicken Sie oben auf Tools/System/Restore to Factory Default.
Danach ist die Firmware übernommen.
