I have a Roper washing machine model # RA S7133KQ1. On all cyle it does not spin or drain but it does agitate. I checked the capacitor, timer and water pump. All is good there. What could be the problem? There is no agitate or spin solenoids in this unit. Could it be the motor coupling for the direct drive washer? Am I missing something else that could be wrong with it? Waiting to hear from the expert.
if the coupler and clutch are ok and you can hear the motor functioning, then it appears that your transmission is bad.most of the time you will see that in the days/weeks leading up to this that your cloths were more wet than usual when you took them out of the machine. Check your owners manual for warranty information. Some machines had a 5 year warranty on the transmission or gear case as whirlpool likes to call it.
Defective Lid Switch Check lid switch for proper operation. Check the switch for continuity. If it is found to be open, replace the switch assembly. Defective Motor If the motor is not
running, the pump will not work. Most washing machine use a reversible
motor and it is possible for the machine to agitate and not spin or
drain. Defective Water Pump If the motor is running
and water is not pumping it could be a defective water pump. Ensure the
tub to pump water hose is clear. If so, replace the pump.
